Big selection of house made chocolates. Something will suit your taste. Peanut Butter Cups were good. Gelato was good. I tried salted caramel and coconut bounty. Worth a stop after farmers market.

A great spot to grab a nice gelato when visiting the market across the street in Ganges. I had the coconut mango, and it was yummy. I also tried the ginger dark chocolates and the salt caramel and they were delicious. It would be nicer...More
We visited Harlans every day we were on the island. The icecream, while pricey was excellent. The variety of chocolate and candies offered are pretty awesome. It was fun to look at everything and buy some for the road. A must visit!
Purchased the salty carmel and the peanut butter gelato. Both were delicious. Also purchased Easter goodies and St Patrick's day goodies.
We enjoyed our stroll through this little chocolate store very much. They have some unique chocolate items. Some are a bit "pricie"; the things we bought were very, very good. So good we went back for a second round!
The staff at Harlans make the best of the best chocolate goodies and their array of licorice is amazing. Buy a big bag of the soft licorice; it is so good.
I have to stop at Harlans every visit to Salt Spring Island. The Gelato is great & fresh made Chocolates delish!

Really enjoyed the raspberry Gelato but unable to find another flavor that we wanted to try. One member of our party had the last scoop of passion fruit and rest the raspberry. There were abt 20 sweet flavors but I prefer tart flavors thus raspberry.
What could possibly be wrong here? First, they make incredible chocolate organic, local FABulous! But say it's a hot day (which it was when I last went there) and you've been strolling all over ganges looking at the Saturday market and other stores and you...More
