Considering food quality in relation to price uncle Ernie's is easily the winner on Shoal Bay East. On two occasions I had three perfectly grilled fresh crayfish (langoustines) for $25. It's $32 if you get it with salad but that's quite unnecessary and they don't mind if you ask them to leave it out. A very generous portion of perfectly... More

Not a bad beach spot for an informal lunch. I had a fish grilled sandwich w fries and it was served quite plain - no sauce or anything. I asked for their creole sauce to put on top and this gave it some flavor. If you are on the beach and want a quick casual lunch then stop here. It... More

This place was wonderful! From the moment we pulled in, needed to park, rented beach chairs and got escorted to the best beach chair location, it was all wonderful service from the guys at Uncle Ernie's! We took a day trip from St Martin on the ferry and ended up staying at Shoal Bay the whole day! It is the... More

My spouse and I decided to amble up shoal bay for a snack at uncle earnies from Zemi beach hotel. We shared a fish pocket and a side of rice and peas plus two rum punches. The service was laid back and friendly. The waitstaff took our orders promptly and the food and bevies were delivered fast and with a... More

This is a cute beach grill/bar. The food is good and the beer is cold but the view is beautiful. You can get in the 3 S's. Surf, sand, and sun.

Our kids ate here while we indulged in amazing seafood at the restaurant next door. Food was good, simple and inexpensive which was a great solution for a family with different tastes.

Nice spot at the end of the road at Shoal Bay East. Don't be put off by the guys in the parking lot assisting you. They will take you down to the beach and set your chairs up if you are hanging out for awhile. Food was ok but is considerably cheaper than the place next door. And caution about... More

Day trip to Anguilla and Shoal's Bay. Taxi dropped us off right next to Uncle Ernie's where we walked directly onto the white sandy beach and rented 2 chairs and an umbrella. After a couple of beers, we ordered a chicken wrap and a seafood wrap from Uncle Ernie's. AMAZING! Creole flavor, tender and delicious. Best wraps ever! We highly... More

We spent about half a day enjoying the drinks, food and beach here. it was one of the best days of our week. The beach is incredible, there is snorkeling close to shore, and the food is excellent. The painkillers were some of the best I have ever had. I wish we could have spent more time here!
