We went as the kids saw the sign and had ideas they would see hives and bee keepers honey being extracted etc. They were disappointed . There was information but not the kind young enquiringly minds were looking for. Access is tricky from the road. Staff very nice, food was fine. It is a place I would visit again with... More

Lovely setting and obviously well-used as we have never got a table!. Fortunately the weather has always been kind and we have sat outside. Food is a little overpriced and the furniture quite run-down and tatty. Perhaps that is the appeal? Service is ok, but you do have to wait quite a while

Lovely little tea room. Not much parking roadway poor, access can be tricky but well worth the trip. Nice helpful staff. Nothing fancy just good simple food, well priced. Locally sourced food. A shop on site selling all the bee products.

Dropped in for a sandwich and coffee just before it closed at three. The member of staff was Half full and apologised that they had ran out of bread. She then remembered that she had some half and half. Not my favourite bread but it was closing time. The ham was reasonably thick and tasty. My only comment was the... More

This is not a genuine review. We have not been open this January, due to illness. I am living on site, but the tea room and shop have been closed. No new customers have been served, so this must just be a fake review, to knock us down the ratings. There is no other explanation. More

I spent the morning doing archery in the field out the back, and the weather had turned cold. It was lovely to step into the tearoom for dinner, and enjoy a nice hot roast and a lovely coffee liqueur coffee. Sudi was a usual friendly and welcoming, the food arrived quickly, hot and plenty-full. Well worth a visit on a... More

Thank you for your feed back- although I must correct you on a few things. Our menu is clearly displayed on our website, linked to Tripadvisor, so that customers can view the prices before they visit, and decide for themselves if they like the prices. 4 of you ate huge plates of freshly prepared food WITH drinks for under £40....
