I was not initially excited to visit Yalos since their marketing gave me a vibe I'm not particularly into, and doesn't feel like Santorini. However once we arrived, I realized I was wrong. Everything is gorgeous, and the beach is as good as you'll get in most places in Santorini. A lot of reviews mention the cost of seating however there are free seating options and the beach is still free to access so it's entirely up to you how much you spend. We splurged on the large cabana and I was nervous about it at first but my husband insisted. It was marvelous! It comes with prosecco, water and a fruit tray that was almost too pretty to eat. This rental is for all day, so make plans accordingly if you wish to spend the money. Wait staff was very attentive even with all the leg work they have to do in the sand all day. Anything we wanted was prompt and it was a gorgeous day. The vibe is very relaxing with music playing the whole time that is not loud at all. The bathrooms are kinda gross, but it is a beach. Overall this was one of our favorite spots and we wish we had time to do it again before we left.

We booked two sunbeds for €30 over the phone. The staff were very friendly during the phone reservation process. We arrived at 10am and were instantly greeted by a friendly waitress who offered water and asked if we would like any juice/coffee etc. We had two very nice sunbeds that are built into a wooded cabana style fixture. We had lunch, we shared tzatziki and bread, my boyfriend had the chicken legs and I had the apple ceviche all of which were delicious. Throughout the afternoon we had various cocktails. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout the day and we are planning to go back again during our ten day holiday. The decor is lovely, very boho chic and stylish. All in all it was a fantastic day and we would definitely recommend to friends who are visiting Santorini.
Only two very minor points for improvement: 1) given the ongoing pandemic we had to take photos of the menu and then consult on our phone. It would work much better if there was a QR code that you could scan that bought the menu up as we realised mid way through the day that we hadn’t taken photos of all the pages of the menu. 2) the wooden frames of the cabana/sunbeds and the table rest between are not sanded down at all so you get little bits of wood on anything that you put down there and had to be careful not to get splinters from it if you leaned your hard or accidentally scraped it with a foot etc., it would make sense to sand these down in our view.

As our flight was not until 7pm so we decided to go to the beach club after check out and this was recommended by our hotel.
Unfortunately there is no bus to this place so had to take a taxi but we arrive the entrance was great and greeted by a lovely lady at the desk. We hired a King Size Lounge (150 euros for the day) and this included water, fresh fruit and bottle of prosecco.
The vibe is very chilled which a DJ playing music but wasn't too loud and still managed to finish my book!
Lunch was lovely but not massive portion but still very delicious.
The staff was super helpful and booked a taxi for us to the airport.

We went to this restaurant for lunch nut because of the Corona we were not allowed to touch the menu, the guy at the table offered really fast a Red Snapper fish but offcourse he did not tell us the price. I ordered a Greek salad both the dishes took really long, the salad was a bowl of tomatoes without taste and cheese from a factory, nothing like we eat everywhere in Santorini. The Fish was ok, it needed spice but OK. The bill was 107,50euro for the fish the salad what I did not eat a bottle of water and a small Cola. If you want to be a stupid tourist go eat here, if you want to enjoy and not be ripped off look further.

Most of the meal was pretty good and they had a DJ playing house music all night, but don’t expect portions like any average restaurant.
We ordered 4 main courses, chicken legs, tagliata beef, sea bream, and lamb filet.
Our lamb was forgotten and we ended up cancelling it, the chicken legs came and looked like scraps from maybe 1.5 legs. The beef couldn’t have been more than 6 oz. The sea bream was the real kicker here, we ordered it as sashimi and we were asked for how many people we were ordering it, to which we responded one person. They then brought us the sea bream and it was one fillet worth and what seemed to be a few more scraps. When the bill came, we noticed they charged us almost 65 euros for the sea bream and when we asked why, they told us since the whole fish was 870 grams, they had to charge us this much. The amount of fish we received was maybe 140 grams max (about 5 oz if even) yet we were told they charged us according to the price of the whole fish.
An absolutely despicable practice by the restaurant, as they only brought us one fillet of the fish yet they charged us for the entire fish which they probably even used for another table’s order.
Needless to say, we all left still hungry yet still spending a ridiculous amount of money. Not recommended for dinner for tourists, only to sit by the ocean and enjoy the music.

Me and my friends first came across Yalos when we tried to walk along the stunning beach on which it is located - we were then going to buy a cocktail after our walk but we were put off by the 2 members of staff who approached us at different times and told us that the beach was “part of the restaurant” and that we could not walk along it despite the fact that we were planning to buy drinks all along, which is absolutely ridiculous.
As my 7 friends and I were staying in a hotel less than a minutes walk away, we decided to give it another try as the views of the beach were stunning. Much to our disappointment, we were met again by the same rude servers who seemed hesitant to seat a group of 8 young women because we may not have fit in with their “aesthetic”. Despite this, we sat down and browsed the menu and when my friend had a question about the black angus dish and what exactly came with it, the member of staff taking our order was very unhelpful, blunt, and condescending in her response to a simple question. When our food arrived, most of it arrived cold and lack luster despite charging €17 for most of these dishes. We were not asking for much, but we were made feel extremely unwelcome by the staff. We would have gladly spent more money on drinks after our meal but all we wanted to do was leave as soon as we were finished eating. The whole experience really but a dampener on mine and my friends last day in Santorini.
It really is such a shame, as the views of the beach from this place is stunning and if marketed to the general public instead as a pretentious and exclusive destination we would have enjoyed it thoroughly.
I will not be recommending this place to anyone visiting Santorini, nor will be returning.

Kind of perplexed by some of the negative reviews on here. We walked down from our villa for dinner on the recommendation of the manager. I was not expecting something as inviting as this. The setting is gorgeous with a casual yet elegant beachy vibe. Good music and pleasant staff. What we ate was very tasty, though I would agree with other reviewers that said it's a bit expensive for what you get. We were just sitting at a table so the issue of how much couches cost did not come up. It's a nice experience in a beautiful setting so how bad can that be?

Very nice beach atmosphere and setting, and highly recommended by our hotel. In fact we wanted a beach atmosphere, so Yalos did hit the mark in that area.
The food was lovely, not fabulous, but the problem we had with our whole meal was the woman server was distant and frankly awful in terms of service and attitude. That really ruined what could have been a lovely evening. From the minute we sat down, she couldn't be bothered with us, was short and snippy. The others were much more friendly, but we had to ask for everything.
We would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

This place tries to be cool but comes across as snooty, we felt that they thought they were doing us a favour by allowing us to eat there. The food was good but no better than many cheaper places, and you can certainly eat much better on the island for less. To add insult to injury the sun beds cost €50 for two with shade which is outrageous, with no discount if you are eating there! Hence very few beds taken I assume. Exclusive, in a bad way.

Too bad. What happened to the Yalos? In 2019 we were on Santorini and discovered the Yalos. A super nice place to relax. Good food. Nice and friendly staff.
Apparently, however, the pandemic has also left its mark here. We left today (June 16, 2022) full of anticipation and hoped to find the Yalos still there. It was still there. But already the entrance with its rusted iron bars did not bode well. Then an old VW bus that served as a sales point for gypsy goods. We chose a sun lounger. Almost all of them were still empty. A young lady came and explained to us that the sun loungers would cost 50 euros a day. The smeared, dirty, and aging beanbags would cost 30 euros.
That we would also like to eat and drink something, did not matter. 50 euros for the couches, 30 euros for the bags.
What can I say, except: No thanks. I am ready to pay my obulus. But ripping off doesn't have to be. There are enough cool locations on Santorini. The Yalos does not have to be.

We came hoping to really enjoy our experience here, having done the classic ‘Instagram research’ beforehand. Unfortunately, we didn’t rate our overall time and wouldn’t return or recommend. We may have just visited on an ‘off day’ but, looking at some other reviews, it doesn’t seem like that is the case.
The cocktails were - fine, but we’ve had many better elsewhere across Santorini. Food was again - fine? But hard to justify against the price. The most disappointing was the service. Unfriendly and unwelcoming, not only did it feel like they were doing us a favour by taking our order but the service was painfully slow. We could easily have ordered 2-3x the drinks that we had, and indeed tried to, but after waiting 30 mins for another order to be taken (having been told they would be right over to us), we eventually gave up and went somewhere else for the rest of the time.
We felt that the overall vibe was a great setting, with okay although pricey drinks & food, but not worth the poor service.

My partner took me here to celebrate my birthday and we had a wonderful experience. The beach has a very chilled bohemian vibe with great music and relaxing cabanas. The star of the show was the food, and probably the best we have had in Santorini. We loved the stuffed squid and the red snapper which was the catch of the day at the time of our visit. The staff are very friendly and the sea is beautifully clear and calm. You really must spend a day here if you visit Santorini.

The setting is beautiful however, the service was terrible and there was only one other table eating at the same time as us. Also, I’m pregnant and decided to order the mini burgers on the menu and didn’t realize until after I ate them that they had put ham on the burgers. The menu never listed ham as an ingredient, which is terrible being that I’m
Pregnant and can’t eat pork. When I brought it to their attention they didn’t seem to care. I wouldn’t recommend going here, as there are better beach clubs on the island with much better service!

It dont deserve the visit! Trust me. We have a good vibe there with music and the sea, but the food and coktails are too expensive for what You get. And the most ridiculous was that We wanted to drink a coffee closer to the sea on the pufs (still part of the restaurant ) and this had an extra cost! Even after we had lunch in the restaurant and it was practically empty, there was plenty of room.
Absolutely ridiculous!!!

What a hidden gem this place is! We visited two days in a row. The food was delicious, with the freshest seafood (as you'd expect from Santorini!)
Staff were friendly, polite, and incredibly attentive. We also met Antonis, who was an absolute gentleman and shared his own recommendations and insights as to where we should visit whilst we were in Santorini. We were invited over to the bar to try some complimentary Vinsanto Wine, which was a beautiful dessert wine, and were touched by the level of kindness and hospitality shown to us. Such lovely people!
This restaurant/bar was one of the highlights of our trip, and we will visit again if we are in Santorini ~ especially to experience one of Yalos' evening beach party events with live DJs.
Yalos is beautiful whether you come in the day or the evening, with its welcoming beach decor and excellent Mediterranean gastronomy by the sea. We enjoyed all of our dishes, but be sure to try the Naxos potatoes, fish of the day, and the Spanikopita! Highly recommend!
