Visited early lunchtime. Lovely and authentic surroundings with friendly ambience. The service was fantastic and bilingual with excellent English to assist our French. The food was lovely and the bill a pleasant surprise. Definitely a restaurant we will return to.

On arrival we were greeted warmly and were able to choose are table. We were offered an aperitif and with it we were given some wasabi flavoured crisps which were very tasty. We chose different starters but both were well presented and the smoked salmon with a dill dressing was superb. For main course I chose the fillets of Quail... More

we were recommended this little restaurant by a local estate agent in Boussac and it was very worth the trip. We did not book but arrived early and sat downstairs in the bar beside the big log fire. The lady owner was very friendly and both she and her chef husband spoke beautiful English. The food was really wonderful and... More

We booked the wine tasting course which is held on a Monday afternoon through the summer season and enjoyed the experience very much. Organised by the owners and a local wine tasting expert we learnt so much, lots of laughs and clear explanations on wine tasting and using your nose. A great experience that we would recommend to anyone who... More

Ate here last week with five kids . The service was very pleasant. Kids' meals were exceptional value at about 7 euro each. We loved our main courses too but my pork was a bit fatty and I felt a little ill afterwards! Probably just my sensitive stomach though. Also thought the mains very very small for the price. Would... Together with friends on a Saturday night. Chef and wife came and talked with us (in English!) and described the menu as fresh, locally-sourced and traditional. A great range of starters after delicious breads and Belgium beers. Great frites for the kids and an outstanding mains. Dessert was expected ly French and delicious. The total cost fir the three courses... More

Excellent, friendly service. Special menu for Valentine's Night offered interesting alternative to steak & chips (although that was also available). Highly recommend it.

A warm and friendly welcome from the bilingual owners. The food and wine were good, particularly the choucroute/fish speciality. Well worth a visit
