We stopped here on our way to the Balaton and we were so amazed that we had dinner here on our way back home as well. This is definetely a hidden gem at an amazing place, in a nice little village. The food is excellent...and the staff is really kind. The restaurant has a nice look and a cute, romantic garden. We'll be sure to visit this place again.More
I recommend dishes based on the local cuisine. They taste great and you can relax in the beatiful surrounding scenery while you eat them.
I reccomend the reataurant for everybody.The food is so luscious.You could find for every season a tipical Hungarian dish.Do not hesitate to ask for a glass of "Cserszegi fűszeres" white wine from the neighbourhood.The area is beautifull for excursions.Enjoy!
Very nice place, with few parking places around. It was great, not too many guests, Quick serving and tasty food. I am looking forward to going there again.

We visited the place upon a friend's referral, and we were not disappointed at all. We tated sirloin, pork knuckle, zander, catfish, pancakes with poppy and cottage chese - all were very delicious. We drank lemonades as we arrived by car, but there was a...big choice of beers and wines, too. Staff is polite, prices are moderate. Highly recommended!More
Let's face it, you are unlikely to be passing this restaurant unless, like us, you are touring round Hungary by car and are visiting the wine region in the west. However, if you are within 30 kilometres of this place, I would suggest that you...make a special detour to sample some of the best cooking that Hungary has to offer. To do it justice you need to devote at least two hours (or even four as the Italian gastronomes at the next table had done when we were there recently for lunch). Everything about the restaurant tells you that you have found something truly special and not some Hungarian fusion restaurant as is so common in Budapest. We had goulash in a home baked cob loaf, full of prime cuts of beef and a thick sauce followed by pork on a bed or mushroom risotto using a range of mushrooms including puffball. We finished with poppy seed pancake and creme anglais. The portion sizes were just right and the attention to detail in the cooking was superb. For this fantastic experience we paid only E30!More
Nice restaurant with traditional Hungarian dished on the menu. The service is excellent and the prices are not that expensive. Some good wines from Hungary are available. We could sit outside at the back, a romantic spot but also child-friendly. Since we had some food...left on the plate we could even get a doggy-bag, excellent service!More
The place is off the beaten track a bit but it is well worth the visit. It serves tasty Hungarian dishes at a good price. The portions are just right. Very nice decor and friendly staff.
