Lovely restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Food was amazing I had the risotto balls and ribeye steak, steak was beautiful and rare which I asked for. The snowball cocktail was a winner and I had two. Only let down was the service was rather slow and the delay between the starter and main was quite long. Other than that... More

The restaurant is a little off the beaten track and I think it is unlikely that you would stumble upon it. We found it online and made the journey past Leeds Castle with the aid of our satellite navigation system. There is plenty of parking at the restaurant which is a new building cleverly grafted onto a much older one.... More

Setting is a bit bizarre as it's like someone's house but that was kind of nice as it's different. Food was delicious. Only bad point was it was SO noisy by the end of the night we were shouting to each other.

One of the best meals I have every had. Wonderful venue. Fantastic menu and fabulous food. Wine excellent. My aunt's 80th. Just perfect we had a small area set away from the main restaurant and I just cannot fault anything.

We were given a friendly welcome and enjoyed a delicious lunch from an interesting selection on the Set Menu.

The food was acceptable, just, but not value for money. It worked out at £50 per head for 5 diners, this included a bottle of average wine and 4 beers. The ribeye steaks were nothing special, in fact 2 had a large lump of fat in them. However the service and waiting staff were first class. Would I return if... More

This was our fourth visit and this time with a groupon voucher. We were given the wrong menus to start but the food was the same apart from the charge for bread and butter at £1.00 per person, but it is delicious. Choice of three starters and three mains something for everyone. Delicious food well cooked and presented. House wine... More

We got this groupon voucher as a anniversary present. Very nice place however extremely hard to find! When we read it was in Hermitage Lane we thought it was near to Maidstone Hospital! Don't make the same mistake we did it is around 7 miles further down very dark, small country roads with no lighting. Warm welcome on arrival -... More

A warmer welcome would not have gone amiss. Still all the other diners were greeted in the same off hand manner so little change from our last visit three years ago. Service was similarly distant with no attempt at making the guest feel in anyway special. On the whole, our meal was presented well (except the surplus vegetable fluid that... More

I am very sorry that you did not enjoy your visit with us. I am bemused as to your comments about how you were greeted and your observation that apparently everyone else was greeted in the same off hand manner. You have reviewed us before three years ago and on that occasion I was serving you and you found our... More

Family get together for a 90th birthday party. Communication prior to the occasion and through out, good. The venue was just what we wanted, private, garden available if we wanted, own bar, fabulous food, all requests by guests were met with a smile and promptly done. Could not have asked for anything more. Would highly recommend.
