Delicious food, beautiful restaurant and lovely staff

We were a family of 4, inc 2 teenagers, and we all loved our food. We had a variety of starters which we shared including gyoza, tempura prawns, satay chicken and spring rolls - all were so fresh and tasted amazing. We then had curries, duck and seabass - all were delicious and served with lovely crunchy veg. Staff were attentive and friendly, restaurant was modern and very clean.

Incredible food!

Very large and spacious outside area to dine, with the most magnificent waterfall right in front of your eyes. The service was phenomenal. Truly top notch waitresses. The food was excellent too. I ordered the vegetarian pad thai, which was super yummy. The kitchen was quite slow but the waitresses apologised a million times and gave us free drinks for the delay. I would definitely go back. Very romantic restaurant too.

Asian Food at Its Best

Tasteful interior with well balanced colors and materials paired with polite service in a small green oasis in the city. You can sit inside and outside in the shade. The menu is well organized, multilingual and reveals the kitchen secrets without any effort. The food is excellent. A place to visit in case you love asian food. If not, it is time to learn it here.

Very disappointing, very poor value. Amateur hour staff

Very poor, avoid Tuk Tuk at all costs. This restaurant was good in the past but has gone downhill under current management, chefs and staff. I ordered a simple sweet and sour main course that was swimming in a soup-like sauce, the only vegetables were peppers (this was not made clear on the menu), when I raised it with the manager she had no response an did not strike it off the bill. Waitresses did not find us a table so we were left waiting, nor did they check that the food was OK. We were so disappointed - we went there several times in recent years but right now (September 2021) it is terrible, and way over-priced. Badly run, bad food, disinterested staff.

Best Asian experience in Marbs

My wife and I have been here several times and each visit has been consistently good. Great food served up by Sonya, Carolina and Zana who are always polite and efficient in their delivery. The Thai curry is exceptional, although All dishes we’ve ordered have been particularly good.

Starter fish soup tasted like dishwater, sent back. Main course of chicken more like 2 x sparrow! Requested more chicken, duly supplied. Refused to pay €80 bill, aggressive owner demanded full payment. I refused stating call the policia if you want, to save the nightI i offered full payment , He then gave me €20 back. Sorry about your bad experience at Tuk Tuk. We understand that you did not like our fish soup which you were not charged for. Since you complained about the chicken being small you were given extra which was not charged for. You had finished your full plate and refused to pay the bill in its entirety. Your comments were “ call the police I am not going to pay the full bill and I’m sure you don’t want a big scene happening here”. We are not sure who was being aggressive and threatening here. The public can decide that.

Not sure I would bill this as 'asian fusion'? It has a page of japanese dishes, and a page of Thai dishes. The curries were OK, but not spicy enough, and my prawns were slightly overcooked. Rather neutral and bland interior

Excellent service and nice ambience

Hello to all. I was highly recommended by friends to try out the Asian fusion food here. The starters of shrimp tempura, vegetable spring rolls and shrimp coconut soup was all good. The main course phad thai was a bit on sour side before squeezing in the lime that comes at the side. The nasi goreng rice is too soft and over salted. The highlight is the service that was very very good. This lady, Ms Sonia was receiving us when we first entered the restaurant. She was already full of smile and served us during the entire diner with outstanding dedication. We will be back soon - thanks to this young Lady

A Warm Welcome

After 2 days of constant heavy rain in Andalucia, coupled with cold temperatures, we were looking forward to a good meal to cheer us up and decided on Tuk Tuk. Most people in the area seemed to have decided to stay at home, so the restaurant was not as busy as usual, but we had a very warm welcome as soon as we stepped through the door. The meal was delicious - I can highly recommend Tempura Prawns followed by Seabass with a Thai coconut and lemongrass flavoured rice washed down with a very pleasant Verdejo. The staff were great, and a special thanks to Sonia who looked after us really well.

Disappointing & Frustrating

I used to LOVE this place - location, setting, menu, prices. Recently refurbished, TUK TUK seems to have increased its prices and removed some of the favourites from the menu (no fillet steak, really?). My first choice main and dessert were both not available on our visit. It´s a shame. This was always our first choice for a great-value high-quality meal, but (like a lot of places), their strategy now seems to be to raise their prices and reduce quality to increase profits, instead of packing out the restaurant with people seeking fair value. Will be interesting to see how they get on in the winter when they are reliant on the local market.

The food was very good! We were really looking forward to Asian food and were not disappointed.. The service was very friendly, we didn't have to wait long for the food and the price was also perfectly fine. What we also found very good is that there was also a lot of vegetarian selection for a change.. My husband and I can only recommend this restaurant👌

Amazing food

Me and my partner visited the restaurant last night without the kids which makes a change, I had the beef green curry with rice and my partner had the teriyaki salmon with a side portion of noodles. I have to say the food was amazing and I can honestly say what a good evening, the service was unreal and the amazing food just finished it off. I would highly recommend trying if your in the area.

Food very good but service awful

We have been eating at this restaurant for years since we live locally all year round. The service has been going down every time to the point we refrain from going as often as we would like too. The new team of waiters are bit as good as the previous ones. The main courses never arrive at the same time; one arrived 5/10 minutes before the others; the waiters did not care; we had to ask for soy sauce and chop sticks with sushi! This is a fusion restaurant and these should be given almost irrespective. The owner was there and never came to the table to ask if we were happy. Very disappointing.

Best experience in Nueva Andalusia

We have been dining in Tuk Tuk for years and it never fails. We are always met with a lovely warm welcome by the staff, especially Juan, Sonia and Moisem. The service is top class whether it is just me with my husband or a big family group. The food is simply delicious, fresh and tasty and beautifully presented. The outdoor space is a dream with a fabulous waterfall in the background. A visit to Tuk Tuk is a must every time we visit Nueva Andalusia. I treated my 89 year old mother to a meal there last October and she insisted on returning for a second time before we flew home. When we went back last week, Juan and Sonia were asking for my mother and even remembered her name! It’s a special place and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough

Comfort on a cold night.

Visited this restaurant on an unusually cold night in Easter. Arrived early and staff were very welcoming. Food was lovely with whitefish ceviche for starter, red curry and Nasi Goreng for mains. Solid portions of comfort food, perfectly spiced. Prices are reasonable and with a range of fusion type foods on the menu.
