This restaurant was recommended by our Casa host as having great seafood. I ordered the ceviche and paella, my spouse requested seafood paella. The ceviche looked like chopped fish in a reddish sauce and tasted like made from canned fish. The paella was too salty for my husband to eat. The staff was lovely and very upset that my husband... Restaurant L Marinera, no longer a Paladar as it has more than 20 seats, is a cool and tranquil spot to lunch after the hectic tourist crush in Trinidad. The staff who spoke English were helpful and attendant even willing to make a White Sangria for me. Lobster was unavailable but the "Sailor's" Rice Dish was quite acceptable. Best of... More

Close to Trinidad, 20 minutes, great seafood excellent paella. Great service at modest prices. Family style restaurant and the chef is a profesional. It is in Casilda which is port south of Trinidad. I was taken there by a friend and he knew what he was talking about.

Get your evening lobster here. They get it fresh from the sea, not frozen. Great food, quality service, nice bathroom (suitable even for a #2). Top tip: Lobster with sauce, shrimps and cheese is a bit too much. Too many tastes happening on your plate at one time.

The fruit juices were natural and fresh as well as the salad. The lobster was delicious. Perfect restaurant to have lunch after sunning at the beach.

This is not easy to find place, but we found it and it was worthwhile. We had seafood paella- huge portion, easily enough for two. A lot of various good quality seafood in paella. Our friend had grilled fish- also excellent. Good service and good wines (which is not always the case in Cuba). I highly recommend this place!

We loved the mojitos and the music. The food was better than most places and I recommend the grilled lobster. As usual in Cuba, the food was overcooked. Sides were quite good and service was excellent.

This restaurant was recommended by our host in Ceinfuegos it being located a short distance from Trinidad. Our taxi driver had also been told be several colleagues that the food was excellent and it did not disappoint. The eclectic atmosphere combined with amazing food made this restaurant well worth it and the price was reasonable to.

If you go to the Ancon Beach, you must have diner in the Marinera, ask the taxi driver to take you there in your way back to Trinidad. In the Marinera ask for a Paella...is a sea Paella, very hot and big!! really good for 2 peoples...ask for Cristal beer if you need to cold down your mouth on fire!!!

This restaurant combines great food with a beautiful setting - very friendly staff, and also live entertainment. We were staying right in Casilda, so it was only a 5-minute walk for us to get here, but it would also be a quick taxi ride from Trinidad. We felt that this was one of the best experiences of our (fantastic) 17... More
