Visited with my husband on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was relatively quiet. We received great service from the waiters & the food was lovely. Extensive menu - lots of fish dishes, as you'd expect - but plenty of other options as well.

Made a visit for my husband's birthday. Booking was smooth. Hostess friendly and efficient. We arrived an hour early but we're accommodated with no bother. Food was amazing and appropriately timely. If there were specials, we were not made aware. Our waiter Jay did not let us know where the restrooms were and I walked up and down a flight... More

Ate as a party of 4 , using a discount voucher from a Waitrose magazine. Very reasonable food. Excellent friendly service from waiting staff.

My first visit to Loch Fyne with the family and we were all very impressed. The ambiance in a converted church is very unusual but nicely done. The restaurant was busy but didn't feel hectic, and there was no overbearing fishy smell which can pervade other 'fish' restaurants. Excellent selection on the menu - not all fish - and good... We took advantage of their Buy One Get One Free breakfast voucher and I would happily pay full price as the food was delicious! I ordered off the children's menu for my one year old, he had the pancakes with blueberries, bacon and maple syrup. He could only manage half so my friend and I devoured the rest, I'm glad... More

It's ages since we've dined at a Loch Fyne (as there are no longer any branches of the restaurant near where we live) so we were delighted to discover this one whilst we were away for the weekend. It was great to find that the food and service were as good as ever. I loved the concept of making up... More

Four of us went on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. The service and the food were excellent. At the end of the meal one our party had requested a Bailey's coffee but straight Baileys was brought by mistake. The waiter spotted this (without being asked!) and was straight over to apologise and to rectify the problem. Lovely restaurant,... More

This used to be my favourite restaurant in Gosforth so after living abroad for a few years it was top of my list when I got back to Gosforth. Unfortunately, while we've been away it's standards have slipped. At prime dining time on Saturday it wasn't even half full and there were plenty of staff ion hand but the service... More

Not only is the decor of this restaurant amazing but the food and service is good too. They have a wide range of fish and seafood dishes but non-fish dishes are also available. All of which were excellent. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it for a nice evening meal. The only one negative thing was that... More
