Unbelievable place. My friend took me here, he's from this area. Great location in the mountains. Beautiful restaurant with friendly attentive staff. The sea food could not be fresher, unbelievably so. I saw whole fish cooked in Salt. I had Pici Carbonara with smoked trout....It was great. My wife had a mixed grill of fish that was equally well prepared and very taste. Vast wine list.More

Good food and great service, but pricey and probably a bit over rated. We tried La Stella after several people recommended to us and we probably had expectations that were too high.Nothing to complain, but I was expecting something more for what we paid.

Based on my previous positive experience in July, I decided to come back while driving back home. This time, I ordered the crudo(raw fish platter) and was excellent & fresh. Pasta with lobster sauce as main was good also. Add the ultra friendly service( I...am non Italian speaker), and you would understand why this restaurant located a bit remote is almost full during lunch time on a Thursday.. I will return.More

Very interesting dinner food was outstanding and unique, needles to say. Completely different and interesting. The setting is fantastic even on a rainy day.

The place is just fantastic. Located in a beautiful building in the mountain, with an amazing view, it serves the greatest fish and seafood you can imagine. Pesce crudo - a must have starter. The quality of red tuna is just unbelievable. We are regular...guests there and would be even more regular, if only we lived closer:) I also appreciate the great choice of wines. And what I particularly like is that their suggestions go always towards the taste of wine, never the price only. Usually we don't need to take the expensive wines from the list to really enjoy the fabulous taste. And what I like most: they always respond positively to my requests of meals out of the menu:):):) Love this place - and you will as well as soon as you get there.More

It always a real pleasure to eat at the Stella. Impeccable service. Amazing and creative chef. Everything is good and testy. Speciality is sea food but not only! Very good wine list, and delicious olive oil! Cannot wait to go back!!

We stopped for lunch here by chance on our way back from Switzerland to Milan airport ( thank goodness for smart phones) and nearly missed our plane because of it! The service was superb, efficient but very friendly, with both the wine and the food,...especially the seafood, excellent. We could not have had a more enjoyable meal in more convivial surroundings. We will be back.More
