We arrived when the restaurant opened, and all of their “hot” food in the buffet was already cold, including bacon, sausage, waffles, etc. They use powdered eggs. The cheese looked like it had sat out for days, and nothing was fresh. Additionally, we had perhaps...the rudest, most unhelpful waiter I’ve encountered in years. Amazing experience while on an overnight in Miami. Restaurant is located at the Intercontinental hotel doral, and I happened to be there for the Sunday Mediterranean Lunch. Ceviche was fantastic, asparagus were perfectly grilled and the desserts tasted like heaven. The staff, from the hostesses...that greeted us, to the server Aury who talked my mom into the minestrone soup (delicious) to the attentive Lourdes at the buffet were all absolutely top notch! Had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with chef Gino Landa, very innovative and humble person , can't wait to return and try all if his dishes in the future. The restaurant has great food but even better services From Aury the server and magaly the supervisor they make you feel at home and welcomed. It was my sons birthday and they when above and beyond for him to make him feel special

The food is yummi and the service German, maria, Carola is impecable i had the peruvian menu lunch buffet and i had to stop my self cuz i wanted more. The restaurant was completely empty on a Friday night, so we were quite worried that it was going to be awful, but much to our delight, it was actually quite good. The service was quite attentive and the menu has selections for everyone
Had Mother's Day brunch at Blue Matisse. The restaurant is GREAT, chef walks around to make sure everything is ok. FOOD is delicious, huge variety of everything, seafood, kids items, dessert, salad, sushi. Good for any picky eater. The receptionist is VERY friendly, always smiling,...helped to take pictures (by the way, she is good taking pictures, she did not cut the legs or arms or people's head. Believe or not, when you ask random people, they do that). Plenty of parking space, beautiful surrounding, they had nice decoration for Mother's day. Cheese table was beautifully decorated, bottomless mimosas. It was worth the $65 for Mother's day. Server German was great, friendly, professional. I highly recommend this location.More
We had breakfast there twice. It was excellent!!!!! Great service. German was very attentive to our needs. He was always there with coffee and anything else we needed. love this new concept they offer for lunch. Everyday there is a different cuisine and the choices are fresh and appetizing. I tried the Peruvian menu on Friday. The ceviche was very fresh, the salad bar was amazing. They also had tapas consisting of avocado...and yuca bites, with its accompanying sauce. The pescado a lo macho is very tasty. For a flat rate of $22 you also get a glass of wine and a sample of small dessert bites. The service is good. Really recommend this placeMore
We really went overboard here, but the food is really well done. Appetizers and Mains. The short ribs were excellent, salmon was good, set lions great, pasta and Chicken dinners great. Sides are ordered separately. Had an amazing apple and pecan salad. Some had the...lobster bisque some fish taco appetizers. Deserts plentiful. food not consistant in portion from day to day. one day got 4 halves of french toast that is 2 pc of french toast for 14.?? one day got 3 halfs of toast 2 pc bacon next day got 4 pc bacon & 4 halfs...of toast?? service lacking. We were sat at a table that was set up with everything silverware etc. & then server sd not santitized? so we had to stand up & let him santitize? but why set clean silverware on unsantitized table?? seemed to only have 2 servers that seemed overwhelmed or undertrained. The one day he just came up & sd what do u want? instead of can i take your order? Not the level of service for the prices that they are charging.More
