We came here on Saturday for family lunch and were disappointed. The meat cuts were limited - and poor quality. Salad station was acceptable but not as ample as In other churrascarías. Deserts were very sweet . Staff were friendly and ambience was ok but...as noted food not good and definitely not worth the $240 we paid. Overall I don’t recommend restaurant.More

We were there for Thanksgiving, for lunch, I will begging with our server his name was Reynaldo Mosquera, nice guy, really good, he is a keeper. We started with the salad bar, good choices, stick to that one if you can... but people goes to...this places to experiment different types of meat... we order wine , not problem, but I do has to said this, the meats were over cooked, as I felt terrible to waste food, you can't even chew , We had being in other places like this type of restaurant that you just keep on going eating a good piece of beef or whatever they serve... the only one was actually good it's call and pardon my misspelled was the picantha .. the best , but I ask the server not to give me the first cut as it's outside cook with lost of salt, so ask for the next so I can eat something not salty, I don't cook with salt it all... so lots of places can be hard for us... Now if anybody has to be there for a Holiday , the price will be like Sunday's price... mmm they don't tell you that if you call ahead... yes tip included read your bill . But I do a plus, the dessert was great, our guy told us was Brazilian, so we try it, depends of your taste in sweets this one it's enough for 2 or more... called Cream of papaya and other fruits.. it was good...More

Salad bar is good. Cheese breads are excellent. The entire meat service needs improvement: 1) The head waiter explains the red/green card system to the customers; extremely basic and easy to understand. But, the meat servers come to the table and offer meat no matter...what color is displayed (they came to our table and offered meat TWICE before ANY of us had turned a card over from red to green) - seems the meat servers require more training than the customers! 2) Every time I asked the meat server if it is cooked medium-rare, their response is 'yes'; only to find out it is well-done! The red meats should always be prepared at rare to medium-rare; when one skewer is getting low, start another at rare to medium-rare, and over-cook the remaining skewer for those customers who want their meat that way; if management was truly wishing to provide the best experience, they would have two skewers of each red meat like this, instead of trying to maintain one single skewer for all cooked levels. 3) We were a table of 4, and the only customers at closing time. The head waiter started taking down the salad bar just before closing time with ZERO notification. To make it worse, one of us had opted to eat ONLY the salad bar. How about doing what even the cheapest restaurants do (i.e. Cici's Pizza), prior to closing down a food area...NOTIFY THE CUSTOMERS of your intentions at least 15 minutes BEFORE you plan to do it!!! AND, give your customers one last chance at the salad bar immediately before you start taking it down! I didn't even bring up the fact of how expensive this place is, and they REALLY SHOULD NOT take down the salad bar at all, until ALL customers have obviously finished eating. Seriously, this was a 'cheap fast-food' experience that should NEVER happen at this type of restaurant. Now, maybe management can provide some kind of explanation as to why I would be willing to return to their restaurant and pay $40 for this type of experience?More

Went solo while in town for work. Place was fairly empty when I got there which should have been my first sign with only 3 other tables seated, but the staff was very friendly. Sides were good, but the meat was over cooked and some...even tasted a bit off. Plus being by myself and not being a large party was surprised they added a pre-filled tip. I normally tip minimum of 20% and what they added was lower so whatever just went with it, but a little frustrating it being added maybe they thought I looked like I wouldn’t take care of them. I wish the staff here could be at another restaurant as they were fantastic overall but the food gives this place a bad rap.More

We went to this rodizio for lunch. The place was empty, no other customer in the restaurant. The service was good but the food was HORRIBLE, this place knos nothing about churrasco !!! We did not have breakfast to save the appetite for the so...desired picanha, fraldinha, filet mignon.... unfortunately, not one, NOT ONE SINGLE ONE piece of steak served was good. We all left disappointed (party of 10 - no one enjoyed). Usually, when you leave a rodizio meal, you are sooo full you cannot eat for 2 days, because the meat is sooo good that you keep repeating. There was no desire to repeat in Brazaviva. It was a waste of money and time. Salad missed onion sauce, a typical sauce that goes with churrasco. This place knows ZERO about churrasco !!! Very poorly managed in terms of offering a good Brazilian rodizio experience !!More

Eek! Methinks not. Our experience at this restaurant was terrible from the beginning. We had two groupons for 2 people, but we were told it's only 1 per table. We were hungry so we only cared about food. Salad bar was okay; meat was horrible....I've been to many Brazilian restaurants and had never had such an awful steak. Service was good though. When they brought a bill, we still had to pay $60 and we only had water. They also charged tip on top of taxes which is illegal. We ended up paying $100 total (including groupons) for a dinner that I did not enjoy. Now we are stuck with another groupon, but I would never step a foot in this restaurant again and do not recommend to anybody. It's way too expensive for a bad quality meat.More

So disappointed. Being in Doral, and since we are rodizio lovers, we decided to try this restaurant for the first time. The smell when you walk in is so strong and weird that my husband suggested to leave (shame that we did not) but I...was extremely hungry. The meats were not flavorful at all and the service left a lot to desire as the people serving the meats were not consistent in bringing them to the tables. I guess I ate more but my husband stopped eating in just a few minutes. The salad signs at the buffet table were not there or placed incorrectly. In general, we barely liked anything and we think we just wasted $70 for something very poor. What a shame ! Do not plan to ever go back.More

Expensive for the service, salad buffet and meat provided. They added 18% tip to the bill. Meats were just OK, not a great variety of cuts. Most of the meats were well-done, including the "picanha", which is wrong. Service was just ok. At least the..."cheese bread" or "Pao de Queijo" was good.More

Well, well... I visited the restaurant once in November just for the salad bar/buffet (no rodizio because of a diet situation) and was very excited about coming back to try their meat. So I brought family last weekend (on Sunday) to share the goodies Brazaviva...offers. Their meat cuts are delicious, cooked to perfection, and I was actually impressed and happy that their medium well meat wasn’t entirely brown like in other places. The chicken, pork sausage, lamb and bacon wrapped cuts were really, really good. The salad bar this time around was not all that, it seemed like the salads were not fresh. But the rice and beans were divine. Then, it surprised me to find that they “do not serve pão de queijo and fried bananas on Sunday”, according to the waiter. Let me explain somehjng, people: all Brazilian restaurants and rodizios serve it because it’s part of the experience, so Sundays shouldn’t be an exception; and the previous time I went they were served complimentary because that’s what Brazilian places do, mostly rodizios, because it’s included in the all-you-can-eat. After questioning him, another family members went to find out what was going on and why they didn’t serve those two main (complimentary) side dishes, he went to the kitchen “to see what he could do”, and finally brought us plenty (thank god, because I’m addicted to those delicious fried bananas and the little Brazilian cheese bread balls). When the bill came about, I find that I was being overcharged (Sundays brunch from 1-4pm is $19.99 per person, I was being charged $36.99 per person). I went up again to the same waiter and he apologized saying he had made a mistake and that he was gonna revert the payment made. But it is curious because the way both receipts looked (the first with the overcharge and the second with the correction) was different. The first one said something like “4 buffet meals $147.96” and the second one looked more legit because it actually stated “4 Sunday Brunch $29.99 pp” with the total in the total column... Anyways, I don’t want to bore you with the situation. Long story short, it’s a nice place for couples, families and quick lunch during weekdays, but watch out and beware with the wolves out there!More
