We are staying at Marriott Villas at Doral. They had a flier with 10% discounts and this was on the list so we decided to give it a try. It is in a small strip mall and the only down side we saw was the limited parking. We were quickly seated and the waitress was friendly and prompt. It was fairly busy with what appeared to be lots of locals. We ordered the fish tacos and pork tacos and then shared. My wife had a caesar salad and I had the black beans as sides. The tacos were excellent and very satisfying. We were glad we split as we each got to taste both. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely visit again.

The food was amazing! The meats were tender & all the sauces that came with it were perfect. We also ordered the nachos. Our teenage boys loved the nachos which had a generous portion of meat on it. I don't think you could go wrong with any entree. We got a tres leche & a flan for dessert. Tres leche was so good, we ordered 2 more. We had leftovers but the desserts were gone in a flash between all 5 of us (3 adults & 2 teenage boys). The service was excellent! It was good to eat different cuisine than what you get in Key Largo.

This place is located in Doral with great parking. The food and customer service was exceptional. I must add they were closing when we arrived but continued to serve us without us knowing it was closing time. This is exceptional authentic Cuban food and the customer service was great.

We were told by a friend that the Pan con Lechón is great! But my sister and I ordered other things. I ordered the Appetizer Platter with, Fried pork chunks, fried cheese, Chorizo slices and petite cheese arepas. This was really good! My sister ordered Palomilla steak with Moros y Christiano and yuca, she sent the Palomilla steak back because it really was ridiculously hard, yuca lacked marinate but rice was good. I ordered Grilled Dolphin with Butter, garlic sauce on the side, white rice and Tostones! The Dolphin was a bit to dry, the tostones were just right! My cortadito was delicious, but the Tres Lesches lacked condensed milk, lacked moist and the Meringue was melted. The prices were fair. The service with our server lacked a bit of friendliness. The atmosphere was a happy one! But! I’ve never eaten at a place that was So Noisy! Oh my goodness! There was a group of 5 men in the table across from us, that were so boisterous! That 2 American young men behind them said “This noise is crazy!” They ate real fast and left. There was just, way to much noise! Lol! My sister and I put pieces of paper napkins in our ears. Maybe next time we’ll order Pan con Lechón to take away!

First time here.
In for dinner on a Friday at 4:30.
Not busy.
Nice place and got seated right away.
Not knowing if there was going to be a language barrier
I made a list of what I wanted in both English and Spanish.
The server was very good and had no problem with English.
Ordered:
Chicharrons $ 5.45
Should have sent them back because they were not hot.
Small cuts. I was planning on taking most of them home.
Maduros 5 pieces only $ 2.95 Good
Lechon Caja china. Side of black beans and white rice.
Good portion $ 24.50
This dish is why I went.
I was looking for crispy skin, even had it on my list.
The meat was very white and very dry.
Plenty of skin but definitely not crispy at all..
Very disappointed.
Drove from North Miami just for crispy skin.
May come back for something else.

I can't tell you exactly what happened because this case was more than 1 year ago. What I can tell you is that if you come back and give us a new opportunity, you will come out talking wonders about us. For something we have 15 uninterrupted years providing service. The place came highly recommended to us and we enjoyed the food. Many people take out and so did we. Unfortunately we were too late for the famoso lechon en nuestra caja china. Note to self...call before 2pm and place the order before it is all gone. Great yuca and plantain aides. We had the fried pork and the pork shank el Vulcan. Bring your appetite!

Happened upon this place and so glad we found it. Best meal of our trip! The chimichurri pork and plantain chips were just AMAZING. Place was packed with locals- which we always consider a good sign when we travel. Highly recommend.

Only mistake is we didn’t call ahead, there was nine of us. It took about 15-minutes to seat us so not bad.
Fantastic lunch specials and I had a sandwich. Delicious and fantastic service.
The place was packed and we enjoyed everything!! Team and I were impressed!

Listen up and listen good. If you are a connoisseur of dining on swine, then you don't have to keep reading this review. Put down your phone, close the lid on your laptop and get your butt to La Esquina del Lechon.
I literally thought I died and went to heaven when I walked through the doors of this wonderfully aromatic establishment. Ok, ok, that's a bit over dramatic, I know, but the aroma, if you like the smell of cooked pork, is certainly heavenly.
If you're having trouble deciding what to get, just start with the chicharones. They are on the menu as an appetizer...that will get you going as you peruse the menu. However, if you're looking for a recommendation from me, I always, always say, if they've got an item that is on the menu that also mentions the name of the restaurant, you go for it, because that is what the place is staking its reputation on, so of course I ordered the LECHON, and I got it asado, which is basically slow roasted pork chunks. My taste buds were super happy.
The service is fast and friendly, the food is good, and you can't beat the flavor of their food.
We loved this place so much that we placed a catering order for a superbowl party that we were invited to. Guess what the biggest hit of the party was....that's right, the LECHON.
So, if you're still reading....STOP IT....get your butt down there and order up that wonderful LECHON......ay ya yay it's so good!

We visited "The Little Pig" on our last night in Miami and we had a great meal. My wife and I both had the Pork Tenderloin and it was fantastic. Definitely a place we will go back to next year.

Came here due to great reviews and wasn't disappointed. Food was good and staff was friendly. Of course, I had to test the "Sandwich “Especial” Cubano". During our weekend getaway in Doral, this was probably the busiest.

My family arrived from Memphis, and stayed in the area near La Esquina. I use to get food from here when I worked in the area. The food is still great!!! The service was quick, I had to translate for my cousins. But I'm so glad La Esquina is still serving good tasting food. I had leftovers but they took mine and their's back to the hotel. Yes, it was good!!!

We came here for dinner after seeing the great reviews on Tripadvisor. We were seated immediately and I noticed that the roses at our table were dead and the water in the vase was scummy. I immediately thought that we had made a wrong choice. That impression was reinforced by the fact that the waitress came to take our order before we had even gotten a menu. Oh boy, I thought this is not good. However the waitress apologized and brought us menus right away. She came back and took our order and brought our food quickly. The food absolutely redeemed this place. We ordered the Pan con Lechon and it was delicious. The pork was flavorful and very tender and the portions were huge. We ordered flan for dessert and it was also very good. The service was good after that small first glitch, attentive but not obstrusive. The place was very clean and the real flowers on the table are a nice touch, however, my suggestion is that you keep an eye on the flowers and replace them when they die and keep the water clean. I would definitely return here for a meal.

Really enjoyed an early dinner here on a business trip stayover. Restaurant closes at 8PM so go early. Amazing selection of desserts including Flan, Guava Berry cheese cake and more. Comfortable, clean and all good ... even the traditional cuban sandwich.
