Translated, our name is The Farm and the Sea. We showcase a locally sourced menu. Relax and soak in the ambiance of the archi-tec-ture of La Finca y el Mar which was inspired, in part, by sea-side farm-houses in Andalucía, Spain. Open-air ter-races frame stun-ning views of the Pacific as well as rolling hills, flow-ers and rock formations. Buen Provecho!

We stayed at Rancho Santana for a second time in a delightful casita for four nights. We used the main hotel restaurant several times as well as the old clubhouse. None of the magic has gone over this last year despite the troubles. The food...and service continue to be excellent as are all the facilities and amenities. It is good to see so many local people employed here and so cheerfully. It was however very quiet compared to last time.More
We ate here several times, always got a table out on the veranda close to the beach. Service was excellent, the food was outstanding, drinks were strong and well made. We were with another couple and they also mentioned how delicious their food was.
The main restaurant of Rancho Santana is very nice and spacious. We dined there on Christmas Eve, and they gave me and my mother a choice between the regular menu and also a special Christmas menu. It was definitely nice to have choices, and the...food was cooked very deliciously!More
What a joke!! We went to Rancho last week for the Wednesday BBQ. Although the setting is lovely, the food was awful and EXPENSIVE!! “Small plates” for $5 including tax and tip. So, you give them $20 and they give you 3 tokens and some...change. Drinks, salad, entrees, dessert, etc - EACH cost one token. Very confusing and costly; with typical snooty RS service. Do yourself a favor and support the other excellent local restaurants nearby. You can get good Nicaraguan food and friendly service for a fraction of the cost.More
I had a lovely birthday dinner here at the end of March. My surf and turf was excellent, the birthday cake with fresh flowers on it was delicious, and the gentleman who serenaded me with a Spanish version of “Happy Birthday” on his guitar was...a fun addition to complete our festive mood.More
As guest of the hotel, Rancho Santana, the chef kindly cooked our freshly caught fish and served us ceviche and a la plancha tuna for a delicious end of trip meal. The service is always friendly and the prices reasonable at this restaurant at the...resort.More
