We enjoyed the buffet restaurant, perfect end of the day. It's a buffet restaurant, so you can take what you want. Some dishes are (African) spicy, others not. The price is at the same level as you would pay at a wok restaurant and that is what it compares best with. Best is to reserve your place at the reception... More

We stayed with 4 adults and 2 kids one night in Matamba, two days in Phantasialand and had dinner and breakfast in Restaurant Zambesi. We had a perfect time and all staff members did a great job. The atmosphere in the hotel was just great. The rooms are very nice and the shower was the best ever in a hotel.... More

I can only review the food for breakfast as we never got to eat here for dinner as it was always fully booked 3 times we tried to book for dinner. The only other evening we stayed at the hotel we had eaten earlier in the park so we weren't hungry enough to pay a huge amount for a dinner... More

very good food. huge variety. a separate big buffet for children with less spicy food which was a big hit with our 2.5 year old. music performance during dinner. Totally worth the price. As someone who have traveled extensively in Africa I can say- this is a real high class African experience. it's one of the best places I have... More

Huge variety of meals, delicious entrées, possibility to add spices to taste. Kids compliant ! There is a kids only buffet and sometimes dancers and musicians come around and entertain the customers. Great time, friendly service ! I strongly recommend it

The setting is really mice, but the food was disappointing. Pizzas were cold inside, little variation and my mother mafeca slide over the greasy floor. Would have expected an apology from the staff. The wine prices were too high.

I've never seen so many flies in a restaurant in all my life. They were everywhere on the food: bread, vegetables, fruits, desserts, everything. I'm not talking about a couple of flies, there were tens, maybe hundreds! I wonder how many eggs they got to lay on the food. Very unhygienic and disrespectful. Both the warm and the cold dishes... If you have low expectations and are not used to go out to eat, you might probably deal with the place. Otherwise the food is really low quality and the stuff rather bored and occupied with personal need then customers. Not to recommend.
