As soon as we walked into the bar area before our meal we was greeted warmly by what looked like the manager, made sure we had drinks ready to take over to our table which was all ready for us to dine. Been a handful of times now and this is my first review, the place always exceeds my expectation. The food is always good and with in a good time. Plenty of staff on hand and always asking if everything is ok with our meal. Couldn't recommend enough to friends and family.

We'd been to the Moody Mare for a drink and always wanted to eat here. We stopped off here on a road trip and because we were getting hungry. Pretty standard menu but everything was well cooked and it tasted good. Not expensive and staff were friendly. We both had ploughmans, made with local ingredients and good qaulity bread and chutneys. Worth a visit.

Friendly helpful staff. On my first visit had a really good pint of IPA and enjoyed a really nice meal of sea bream in a tomato and chorizo sauce. There's parking and a nice garden.

Had dinner with friends on a Saturday evening. Parking was a little difficult as it was so busy which I guess is a good sign. We were greeted by very friendly staff and the service didn't end there. The food was very good and we couldn't fault anything. The gardens were very nice as well and we will certainly go... More

Met up with some friends here on Sunday, we received a lovely warm welcome as soon as we arrived. The service was impeccable throughout, the staff couldn't do enough for you, the food was totally delicious, I had the Hake which was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be visiting again sooner than later.

Thank Mrs B
