A wonderful meal with a great view was had here on our first afternoon in Baracoa. Do not confuse this place with the Bar with a similar name. We were the only diners at 2:30 in the afternoon and it did not seem as if the management was really expecting anybody! The even ran out of beer. The waiter tried... More

Our first choice for accommodation in Baracoa could only accommodate us for two nights, not the three that we wanted. We had been backpacking for almost a year and couldn't face the prospect of unpacking and packing up again to move to another Casa so we continued with our search for somewhere to stay for three nights. Next, we telephoned... More

Worst esperience in Cuba. The food has nothing in particular, and most of all the service from the chairman is the worst in Cuba, agressive and not client oriented at all. We left the restaurant with such a bad experience behind us. - we call before to ask to book a table with view. When we arrived, the chairman told... More

We really appreciated the restaurant : the food is really good and quite different from what there is in the rest of the country. The discretion of the waiters is really appreciated. It is not the cheapest prices, but it is totally worthy ! All the sauces that accompany the meat are very good. We also stayed in the casa... More

Another great paladar in Baracoa. The dishes are traditional and good. Seasoned well and selected quality. The service was a bit casual but friendly. We enjoyed the view from our table down on the street with people playing domino or selling frutas. Maybe it is a bit annoying that this place is also crowded by Lonely Planet equipped travellers (like... More

It is difficult to rate Cuban restaurant. This rating is by Cuban standards, not by world standards. Restaurant was recommended by receptionist at our hotel and it was good choice for our group of 6. The restaurant offers for dinner two menus, Baracoa specialties and Cuban standard menu. We ordered local specialties - fish, lobster and shrimps in in Caribbean... More

Very nice place with a lot of interesting dekor to look at. The prices are reasonable, even though it’s better to drink beer (1.50 per bottle) than lemonade (2.00 a glass)?! The waiters were very nice and the octopus as well as the shrimps with vegetables that we had were very tasty. If we come back to Baracoa, we’ll eat... More

We dined two consecutive days in the mid-afternoon trying to escape the heat and replenish our bodies with food and drink. We loved the staff and the ambiance of the upstairs restaurant. Both days we had the River Prawns - the first day with the tomato sauce and the second day with the coconut sauce. Yum Yum! Great bread served... More

Says it all really. I loved my meal here, easy to get a table, friendly and swift service, and good quality food at a reasonable price.
