My boyfriend and I stopped in at Danena’s one morning while on a road trip through Cape Breton. We almost drove right past, but we saw the sign advertising coffee and cinnamon buns and we slammed on the brakes and pulled a swift U-ey into...More

I stopped for a coffee on my travels around the Cabot Trail and found this unique bakery filled with many antique items and various seating areas. I really enjoyed the homemade date square and the smells of cooked food was warm and delicious and my...More

I did not have a meal here but wish I had. I got bakery goods to go and absolutely loved the cinnamon rolls. The place is easy to miss but I suspect that is well worth looking for.

We intended to stop just for coffee, but we were tempted by the array of cakes. The raspberry square was so tasty.

Had Lobster roll and fries lunch specials. Lobster ok. Toasted or grilled roll would have been nice. Fries were plentiful and excellent. Bottomless coffee on the damp day was much appreciated.

Delicious food, especially the cinnamon roll and the blueberry scone, the latter of which is only lightly sweet and thus perfect! We listened to Tom Petty tributes and had a nice chat with one of the owners. It would be great if opening times were...More
