I'd been holding off to go to this restaurant because I'm not the biggest fan of rabbit, and that is advertised as its specialty. However, I was recently persuaded by a friend, and boy was it a really wonderful surprise. The servers were sweet like family the moment you walked in the door. The owner greeted us personally and hung... More

We had a dinner at Charlie's inn Rabbit House and we are still licking our lips. The traditional Rabbit dish - Fried whole rabbit in wine and garlic was fantastic. The sauce was out of this world. We also had nice appetizers - Rabbit spaghetti and mozzarella salad. Both were great. Nice selection of wines as well. The owner himself... More

This was fantastic. A friend of mine took me to this establishment to try, what he termed, "the best Maltese rabbit in the country". I had been waiting 7 years to try this dish, and I was not disappointed. We got the whole rabbit, in it's stew, with chips (fries) and a bottle of red wine. I was MOST impressed... More

Love their rabbit ravioli and rabbit main dishes with their tasty chips. Desserts are also delicious. Easy parking access and friendly family atmosphere

Very short menu but all are typical Maltese dishes. We ordered rabbit and was advised not to have starter as portions were large, but we were given a dish of snails plus a bean and spicy tomato dish with bread as an appetiser . The fried rabbit was served in a tasty sauce with excellent chips. We also had half... More

Been there a couple of times, and keep going back every time I'm in Malta. The young chef delivers fresh ideas to the traditional Maltese kitchen, based on rabbits. Can't really say more than go and try it yourself.

Went there with a few family members for Sunday lunch and it was much better than I expected. We were placed outside but it was great despite the winds as we were sheltered. If you go, you MUST try the rabbit ravioli... had mine with pesto and rucola and they were delicious. They even offered us drinks on the house... More

A rustic type restaurant tucked away in a small and quiet neighbourhood of Salina. This place specializes in traditional dishes; namely rabbit. Of course there are other alternatives on the menu too. Most of us in the group had spaghetti with rabbit stew sauce as a starter and fried rabbit for the main. Quite good overall; same for the service.

Returned to Charlie's for the first time in a couple of years. Went for dinner with friends. The welcome was warm and the choice of drinks and wine extensive. The the décor is a little "tired". The complementary entrees were delicious, the rabbit itself good - but as several others have commented, the portion size is not overly generous, the... More

Great place to go to meet up with family or have some great rabbit. The rabbit spaghetti is lovely too and we adore the snails for starters.
