Ambience, service and the food has never failed to impress.Today (Valentines) was no exception, oerfect meal, oerfect night. We have eaten at most of the restaurants in the 'north'...and none come close.More

Ta cassia is a good choice whatever the weather. In winter it’s a cost place with log fire and romantic atmosphere. In summer they have a large garden which has a canopy so pleasant in the heat. The tables were far apart which is what we all expect...at present and staff wore masks. The fish soup was delicious and the octopus carpaccio excellent. As always the sizzling char grilled ribeye a tender ample cut of steak with delicious flavor. The grilled calamari also was a success.Good portions of vegetables also served and included in price. Not much room for dessert so shared .Wine list a good range of local and foreign wines and prices the normal rangeMore

We went to Ta'Cassia twice in the past week. It was a random find as it was right next to our hotel, but it turned out to be fantastic. The service was fantastic: very attentive and polite. The food was excellent, too, with some delicious...meat and uncomplicated, but sophisticated dishes. 10/10 would recommend!More

We came upon this restaurant by chance after walking from st Julien and what a delight it was. Tuesday lunchtime in February was not busy but in summer it will be full. The place has character and the service was excellent . The food was...delicious. By far the best meal we had on Malta. I had the mushroom pasta dish which was sublime. The price was exceptionally reasonable for our food and drink. A real gem.More

A reunion for 9 ex students tested this restaurant, at lunch, time to the full. Almost all made a different choice and all were more than satisfied. Although when there weren’t to many patrons, being mid week, the service was professional and very reasonable. With...an extensive outside area Ta Cassia would make a an excellent venue for summer evening dining. Based on our experience we will go again and recommend it to our friends.More

My wife and I visited Ta Cassia twice within a week on our holiday in November. The first occasion was to take up a deal on a fixed menu. We were seated in front of the fire and were immediately attended to by the waitress...who was firstly aware of our reservation, knew the wine list and was very attentive even though we were on a reduced price menu. The food was of excellent quality, preceded by a bruchetta amuse bouche my starter was mussels, almost "a bucket full" were served up in a white wine sauce, followed by fresh Cerna fish as the main with roasted veggies and fennel potatoes, finishing with apple pie and ice cream. Simple but with a fine local white wine perfectly presented and executed. The traditional Maltese farmhouse residence improves the ambience and adds to the experience. We were so impressed that we returned on the following Saturday evening to experience the restaurant on a very busy night and from the a la carte menu. It is rare to order a ribeye steak that not only comes as you ordered it, medium rare in my case, but the meat was of excellent quality, complimented by a local red wine. As the restaurant was full extra staff had been brought in, nobody was waiting for service. What can I say, we have been visiting the island for many years and have experienced some fabulous meals (and some poor ones) but this restaurant is up there with the best, cost as you would expect for a restaurant, with excellent service fine food and a great atmosphere. Finally no parking problems.More

Our family of 4 stopped in for lunch today. The food was excellent! My husband and myself each tried the rib-eye steaks with peppercorn & mushroom sauces. They were tender and cooked perfectly to our liking. Our son ordered the appetizer mussels in the white...wine sauce. Both my son and my husband loved them. Dessert was a hit, too. Thanks so much for the excellent service and delicious food!More
