I really can highly recemond this restaurant. Very well located close to castle, excelen czech food for really cheap price and very nice friedly and well english speaking staff . This place had some good sides, but also some things that should be improved. Pros: staff was very friendly and spoke well English, menu prices were cheap, some food was good like the soup and chicken legs. Cons: some food was of really low quality,...especially the apple strudel desert. Interior looks of the restaurant could be improved.More

Decided to eat lunch before visiting the castle due to the reviews. Unfortunately, the building work being done on the new extension spoiled things a little. There was an odd chemical smell and lots of banging noise. Nevertheless, the service was friendly and the burger...and beers were tasty. Not a great experience, but not bad.More

We dined at this restaurant right after our visit to Karlštejn Castle. It is perfectly located between the way down from the castle and the train station. The surroundings are so quiet and relaxing, a perfect way to wrap up the day. The service was...good and the staff was very polite. The food was also good and a great value for money. We had a three course meal by two for just €20. The homemade apfelstrudel was much better than any we ordered in Prague. A great thumbs up to this place.More

Food was great! We ordered diferent tipes of salat, tagliatele with chicken, kuskus, potato soup and everything was sooooo tasty! Best losos and best goat cheese salats ever! Not expencive and exelent service too! Best place to eat in Karlstejn.

We had a lovely lunch in this family-run restaurant. The food is clearly home prepared; especially the delicious soups. We sat on the outdoor patio, which was cool & refreshing. The prices were quite reasonable and the portions were plentiful. This is a very nice...stop on the steep road up to the castle.More

Ten of us walked in yesterday and had an amazing dinner. Our server(guy with glasses) was super nice and accommodating and although we made a big order the service was quick and smooth and they served really large portions so great value as well. Food...well cooked and tasty and would definitely go back.More

Nice family-run restaurant near Karlstein Castle. We visited him for lunch, they have lunch menus at very reasonable prices. Dishes get pretty fast and service is efficient. The kitchen is Czech.

Visited this sweet little terraced restaurant after a long hike from Beroun to the Karlstejn castle. Spontaneous decision to eat here on way to train station was rewarding. The place was situated at base of the castle with relaxing surroundings of forest and gentle music....Friendly staff, delicious food and value for money. Excellent for families with a cheap tasty kids menu.More
