A friend asked if we trusted him to take us to a restaurant we had never tried...never even heard of, and of course we said “yes”. We had wonderful service and great food while we enjoyed a different view of Abaco! Our food was excellent...and served by the owner who was extremely personable! We will definitely visit The BAE again and highly recommend it to everyone!!More

We live about 28 miles from the restaurant and shops that are in nearby Marsh Harbor. We stopped by the Bae a few months ago and now we are frequent visitors. The location/scenery is just wonderful and is matched by the quality of food. People...who do not know or live in the Bahamas will not understand what is fresh fish and not quite so fresh fish! The Bae serves FRESH fish and we eat there as often a we can on our way home from Marsh Harbour. Delightful people and great food! Thanks so much!!!More

Stopped by on our way to Treasure Cay. Had a couple drinks and the Fish Tacos. Bradly is the owner I believe but was quick to introduce himself as was the staff. They were fun and what an awesome view. A very cool, and unique...place.More

Went twice for dinner. Both times were excellent. About 15 minutes North of Marsh Harbour and easy to find. Right on the water, overlooking the Marls and the sunset. So a beautiful location. Service was quite good both nights - friendly and attentive. The Caesar...Salad was better than average and easily large enough to split. 3 entrees were with the fresh fish catch of the day (tacos, filet, sandwich) and were excellent. One was the daily burger special (Hawaiian Teraki). Different, cooked perfectly and really tasty. The price was very reasonable since the gratuity is included (but not disclosed, so it is easy to double tip. This is the case more often than not on Abaco so ask if in doubt). This is outdoor/deck dining so don't expect white table cloths and crystal, but do expect a beautiful view, welcoming people and an excellent meal at a very fair price.More

Visited this restaurant based on the good reviews but was very disappointed. Took an hour & half to get our food. I think they actually forgot about us. Once we finally got our food, the order was wrong. I ordered grilled grouper and received breaded...& fried grouper that was real tough. I was hungry though and didn’t want to wait to have it changed.More

We recently had a 3 week stay in Treasure Cay . During this time we visited the Bae 3 times . The first visit was for 2 at lunch , our meals were perfect and service was adequate, we had one bill .Our second visit...was for 4 for lunch , again , food perfect , service was prompt , one bill . Our last visit was for 7 people for dinner , 3 bills. Service was less than adequate. They prepared our orders , one after each other . First 3 of our parties food was served , they had finished eating and after a complaint the next 4 orders were served. I ordered tacos and was served a fish burger . Because of the long wait , I ate it anyway. We had to ask for cutlery, and were never asked about refreshing our drinks .During this time there were only 6 other quests in the restaurant The food was all EXCELLENT, but service was below par , for the Abacos. The Bae , must work on it’s servic. During all that time , , 2 1/2 hours , we were being bitten by mosquitoes.More

This place is a little ways off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. Service is slow as everything is made fresh, but have a drink and enjoy the gorgeous view. We had the fish tacos and we were not disappointed. This may be...the best meal we've had so far in Abaco. We're going back.More
