We visited The Dam Pub for lunch in July with friends, it was a great experience. From the moment we arrived and met our lovely waitress Heather (great smile), to the outstanding food and the easy relaxed atmosphere, it was a super lunch. Bangers and mash where excellent and beautifully presented, the whitefish on the salad greens was excellent and... More

My family and I (4 adults) decided to get a table for lunch. The waitress was not amused that we wanted a bit of shade on the patio. Next came beer selection and as we were asking for some specifics she rolled her eyes!! We got up and with a smile told her we changed our mind. We went to... More

Three attempts were made to go direct to Justyna with a private email. Justyna has set up her TA account so messages cannot be sent directly to her. I do not have her telephone number or email address. My last resort is to post my private response to her publicly. Hi Justyna, I have just received notice of your review... More

Was here just before Christmas with friends. Had one of the best roast beef dinners I've ever eaten. Have also been twice before over the years and have always enjoyed the meals and ambience

Even though they have over 700 whiskey's, it was here that I learned about craft beer. I had their flight of samples and really enjoyed the IPA's. I now have an option to wine all the time. In fact, I had a pint of one of the beers that I sampled with my order of bbq ribs (it was rib... More

We have visited this pub several times in the past and have always had a good experience. The people working there are really nice although we felt the place was a bit understaffed last time we were there. The food is very good pub food with lots of choices and an amazing array of whiskies. The patio is the best... More

I posted a bad review as a result of our groups really bad experience on August 21, 2015 at my birthday dinner gathering. As I said in the review [now deleted by me] I live in the area and The Dam Pub was my favorite restaurant for years and that any restaurant can have an occasional bad day. After posting... More

The little house had an intimate setting. The whisky selection was overwhelming! Staff was knowledgeable about the vast (over 775 whiskies) variety. The food presentation was unexpectedly good for a pub and the food was delicious. I will be back and recommend especially to the whisky lovers out there!

We took our friends there Saturday night, after visiting our family in Clarksburg. We were helping our friends to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. Our family, who are locals, had highly recommended The Damn Pub and they were right! The ambience (not too loud!) was perfect and our waitress, Heather, went far above the call of duty...so far, as to bring... More

Stopped by with husband, father in law and uncle yesterday after a delightful hike in Pretty River. We were tired and thirsty. I went to wash my hands and the lads were already seated by the time I got back and had water on the table. We each has something different and we all enjoyed what we had. I mentioned... More
