We loved our meal, but the best part was the impromptu whisky tasting afterwards with the Whisky Ambassador, Stephanie! She was so patient, knowledgeable, and even paired our whisky with a small chocolate pâté that brought out the smokey peaty goodness of the Islay scotch. We were truly impressed and will be back soon for more whisky tastings! Brilliant experience,... More

This is a wonderful, authentic scottish pub located in the heart of Thornbury, Ontario. With over 775 single malt scotches to choose from, a wonderful menu and ambiance - you can not go wrong. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating! The meals are delicious with lots of choices. A must when you are visiting the Beaver Valley!

Excellent! Portions are generous and very good. Very attentive service. Lovely patio and large space inside too. Thoroughly recommend the bread and butter pudding for dessert.

My Dad found this pub and 7 of us went because of the good reviews; we were not let down. The service was great - our waitress was really friendly and helpful. The portions were enormous but the food was really tasty, especially the bread and butter pudding which was gorgeous. Would definitely go back if I was in the... More

Who could resist a place like this? While visiting friends in Bognor, we decided to lunch at The Dam Pub. We knew we had to try it! We're not whiskey connaisseurs but they had some great beers to choose from. My friend tried the popular Fried Haagis and onion rings and his wife had the Ploughman's Platter. My husband and... I reviewed this restaurant a year ago and complained about the service, but since the food is good we decided to give it another chance. Sorry to say it, but they haven't improved the service. It doesn't appear to be the fault of the wait staff, the kitchen just doesn't appear to be on top of things. My wife ordered... More
