Le Piment remains on our list of favorite lunch stops when craving a really good burger. We get the burger with goat cheese. The only place we know that still has hand made french fries. Er return for dinner sometimes to enjoy the fresh grouper. More local eat at Le Piment than just tourists.

My spouse and I enjoyed lunch at Le Piment on a weekday afternoon in late April 2016. The word “Piment” is French for “chili pepper”; however, that bears no influence on their food. The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Le Piment is located on the main road in St Jean near the roundabout/traffic circle/rotary near three... More

We've always known Le Piment as the place where (sometimes loud) locals will gather to watch soccer on large TV screens. We've had friendly service here, and thought our burgers were particularly good. Prices are very reasonable for lunch at St. Barth's, given that it's basically just a bar and that's what you'd expect there. It's really a "what you... More

Le Piment used to be a tremendous bar in St Jean, and I used to really enjoy the vibe of the place. It would be occasionally amusing to watch the reactions of one or two first time visitors who just didn’t get it. This was mostly down to two excellent waitresses who were very friendly, good fun, spoke some English... More

This locals bar (if there is such a thing) is a nice little find if you want something low key and not over the top expensive. They do have some tapas style items along with a full regular menu.

We thankfully arrived before they were busy. The pizza I had was large and very good. My husband had the beef lasagna he enjoyed. We shared a large salad with a tasty dressing. The staff was very nice and attentive without hovering. I definitely will return .

We enjoyed this little restaurant. The service was very good. We had the local fish and it was excellent. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this place.

The portions weren't large but by St. Barts standards this was a good value and the service was good as well.

My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant almost every year since it opened. The food was always good and the price was moderate for St Barth. However, the past two years we have received poor service - almost totally ignored - while all the French customers were prioritized. Conclusion: If you're not French be prepared to be ignored... At first glance, this place looks like a roadside bar--but don't let the casual atmosphere detract from the menu. We had dinner here for 5 persons and we all enjoyed our food--calamari and octopus dishes were great and we enjoyed our bottles of rose and ti punch. I also went back just for drinks and this place is a great... More
