Nothing special. Overly large portions. Octopus salad was a little off. Young waitress got short with us when we only wanted hot milk for our espresso after lunch. Prices way over and above the neighborhood with low quality paper napkins and a flapping canvas overhead held together with paper clips. Shall not return.

This second floor restaurant is near one end of Piazza Italia in Scicli. It offers outside balcony seating - very highly recommended in good weather - where diners look out over the Piazza. Gaze in another direction and one faces the beautiful San Bartolomeo church. As we sat at dinner, darkness settled in and the streetlights came on, bathing everything... More

We liked this restaurant very much and went two nights in a row. Everything we ordered was lovely and a reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As the restaurant is upstairs you get a lovely view of the square.

We loved the place, located on the second floor at the short ebd of the main squuare-Piazza Italia. Come early as they open 1930 in order to catch a table on the balcony overlooking the square, the passigeta, and the church up the hill. The food was amazing, English menu for those who cannot cope, and great local wines. Could... More

Excellent view from the terrace, nicely sheltered In a very windy day. The menu has the typical Sicilian dishes, with the addition of some recipes with local beans and with fava beans, both less common and worth trying. Everything we ordered was very well prepared, maybe the best being the pasta with Sicilian pesto. Very reasonably priced.

We arrived in this wonderful town at lunchtime and found the first place we could to eat. Not too bad food - although it could have been better. Service good, friendly place, dessert excellent

We visited twice..we liked it so much. The family run restaurant is relaxed nd very welcoming with first class fresh local food..non pretentious and clearly a local favourite from the way it filled up with lots of couples and families who knew each other. Booking is definitely advisable. We sat outside on the terrace overlooking the square, which was a... More

Seriously: wow! Simply mouthwatering and fresh! Yes, you need to wait quite some time for the food, but every single dish is prepared fresh. Highly recommended!

We tried the pesto rosso pasta that was delicious and the super crispy fried small fish and seafood. The chocolate sorbet with orange and honey was out of this world as well as the inventive carob cannoli. Nice view of the square from the balcony. Highly reccomended!

We had such a great meal in this wonderful town. You can sit outside under the awning overlooking one of the squares. The owner popped out to check we were happy and we all were deliciously happy. The kids loved the pasta options and we indulged ourselves with the fish of the day - magnificent. The house white was very... More
