Super bland food, pizza crust was appealing but the taste was far from acceptable. Bruchettas made over ultra crusty french baguette bread (totally wrong and should prob fire the chef).
You'd go there for a view and food, u'l end up with a smile for the view only. Please change your chef and let the owners also look into the dishes before being validated or served that way..

Came here for lunch and did not regret opting for this spot. We got a table by the terrace which had an amazing view of the sea and the sea breeze, and nothing can be faulted about this ambiance. Food was great and refreshing: from pizzas, pastas and seafood menus and cocktails, so kudos to the chefs and bartender. I recall that the restaurant serves several Thai dishes.
Overall, definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a nice and cozy dining spot with a view of Koh Samui. Prices was relatively higher than most other restaurants on the island, but I suppose this counts for the good food and even better ambiance.

My wife and I went there the last day of our holiday. So glad we did as the experience was the icing on the cake for our holiday in Samui.
Johnny the owner a well spoken Englishman who has lived over 30 years on the island gave us a very warm welcome to his beautiful restaurant with great view.
My wife being Thai ordered Thai food and I ordered grilled fish.
Both were excellent and very fresh.
The staff were great and very loyal, worked there for 9 years. They spoke very highly of Johnny.
It was a pleasure to get to know Johnny,to dine in his restaurant and enjoy the food and service.

Dr Frogs was recommended by staff where we are staying (Anantara, Lawana) and we’re glad we came. Food was of a very good standard along with the service. I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken and my other half had the Beef Massaman Curry which was delicious. I would highly recommend giving this place a visit.

We were recommended this restaurant and duly made a booking at the advised time of 5.30 for dinner so as to maximise the views at sunset We arrived a little early as we were excited and anticipating a fabulous meal with beautiful views however the evening did not live up to our expectations
We ordered a drink at our table and began to peruse the menu however 25 mins later and despite attempts to attract the staff we still did not have a drink !
A waitress then came to take our food order and by this time I had already had concerns about the service so decided to change what I was originally going to order for my meal. Whilst taking our food order we enquired about our drinks order to which the waitress laughed. Shortly after we got our drinks from the waitress who had taken our original order and who said there had been a misunderstanding with our drinks but there would be no problem with our food
Unfortunately that was not the case, my husbands main course arrived and after a delay my husband had to start eating his before it became cold, some time later my food
arrived without any apology or comment.
We decided then not to both with desert
We then tried to attract attention to get the bill but again without success There we’re a number of waitresses but none seemed to be attentive to us
I have to say the food we had was good but the overall experience was extremely disappointing having eaten at some many wonderful restaurants in Thailand I would not recommend this

Worst meal I have had in Samui, I ordered the prawn cocktail and seafood risotto which was there signature dish , thinking that it was a Western chef so should be ok, I was so wrong, prawns were like rubber we waited 1.5 hours for the main meal thinking it would be worth the wait , were we wrong it was like a stew covered in fresh dill all mixed though it, the 1 scollop I had was nice but that was were it ended. I ordered one of there cocktails it tasted like orange juice.
My husband ordered the rack of lamb it was the smallest rack of lamb I have ever seen the mash potato was grey and the 4 beans he had were so over cooked. The rack of lamb cost 1150bart
The service was crap and the restaurant was only a quarter full when I got back to our hotel all my dinner went into the toilet I vomited it all up.
So please don’t waist your money it was a great view but that was were it ended.

I had told the restaurant that we were celebrating my partner’s birthday, and the staff made the evening special. There were balloons waiting on arrival, and she was surprised by a birthday cake and singing after the meal. The seafood platter was served promptly and was simple and delicious.

Dr Frogg is well situated next to the viewpoint. During the day, you can see the coast up to Chaweng. The menu mixes Thai dishes with international ones. The staff was friendly. The food was average. Good but not exceptional. Our waitress had difficulties to understand our order (we asked to remove several items on one of the two burgers, insisting that the other one shall have those, but both came without). In terms of organisation, the staff does not see to have designated tables, which means that everyone ends up doing everything. In particular a different waiter was coming every 5 minutes to fill up our wine glasses, although we kept explaining that we wanted to let the wine cool down a bit in the ice bucket. Finally, a large number of the deserts were not available.

We visited Dr Frogs for the Christmas lunch in this great restaurant which is locared on the beach side of the main road perched above huge granite bolders with a spectacular sweeping view of Chaweng bay. Delicious 3 course dinner full of Christmas flavors and live music followed by dj.Great day out at a great place with excellent food and the best views out over the bay.

Dined there on our last night and it was the high light of our culinary experience. We were warmly greeted by Johnny the owner who seated us at the prime table with a gorgeous view of the ocean. All three appetizers were outstanding and the fresh lobster fettuccine that we all ordered was amazing. The cocktails and wine were good and reasonably priced. To cap off the evening we were offered gratis Baileys on ice.

Terrible wait time!!! Took over 2 hours to eat! Went to eat here on a Tuesday night at 7 pm. Was recommended to us. We waited 1 hour for appetizers! People were leaving the restaurant for long wait times as we continued to wait. We ended up missing the muy Thai fight because of the wait time. Food was tasted but took almost 2 hours to eat. Food came out as ready so most of us were finished eating by the time last entree was out. Very bad experience. Would not recommend

I came here with 3 friends for dinner and the service of the staff is simply terrible. Very slow with ordering, taking our drink order then forgetting it twice. Our food came and my fish was burnt, then my friends food didn’t arrive for a further 25 minutes. I wouldn’t mind but she ordered a salad!
I was then told by one of the waitresses that they would take the fish off the bill, which I wasn’t expecting but thought it was very kind. However the manager came over and was very aggressive and rude, honestly I have never had such an awful and unprofessional meal.
I would stay clear of this place, there are much nicer restaurants on the island with lovely staff and unburnt food!

I went for new years eve for their set menu. It was 3990 for 6 courses so we thought it was a pretty good deal and it would have been if they had better portions. Like literally I was only given one ravioli.. ONE TINY LITTLE RAVIOLI. We worked out the dishes and they basically each cost about 700 baht each plate so why was I only given one ravioli for 700?!? I was still literally starving after dinner. It was 100% not worth the money at all. I will give them that the flavors were all there and quite delicious but don't be so extortionate when it comes to your prices. I don't mind spending money but at least make it worth my money!

Fantastic spot! We have been a few times now for both lunch and dinner, and went as couples & friends and it was the perfect location for us - stunning panoramic views of the ocean (literally from anywhere you sit) It’s open air style with the most comfortable chairs… hard for us to get out! The lounge sofa was amazing.
The new menu was western/thai fusion and also authentic thin crusted pizzas… highlight for us were the sharing plates - the thai salad and tacos were yummy. Pavlova with mango and passion fruit was a personal favourite.
Thailander cocktails were the best!!! Definitely worth a visit. They also have a hotel and pool attached and allowed us to relax and use the pool facilities :)
Price very reasonable for the quality and location, staff very friendly.
The only bad thing we can say is that it is almost impossible to leave!

We actually stayed here as the restaurant is part of the Boujis Boutique Resort so we ate here a couple of times. Medium priced but the quality was good and the service quick and attentive. Lovely location overlooking the sea and a nice bar area, clean toilets and car park.
