I've been to this pub for a drink a couple of times with friends, and I think it's a lovely place. It has a cosy atmosphere, just like a proper pub should, and is clearly popular with locals. This time, however, I was with my wife, and we decided to try the food. The pub was surprisingly busy, for a... More

The fact that the pub was packed at 6.30 on a Monday says all you need to know. Six meals cooked fresh and served swiftly at a reasonable price is good. The fact that the chef knows how to cook a piece of liver is outstanding. Not an unhappy member of our party. Well done to the team

I dont know what happen to that pub but we went there on Saturday for lunch. Chose this place based on reviews but got very disappointed. Food menu wasnt big and lunch menu even smaller, there was not much to choose from at all. We all ordered burgers and some onion rings. Food was very very dry and onion rings... More

Went today as a couple for a Sunday roast. Service was friendly and quick we had the beef and the minted lamb Henry both meals were delicious and hot. The only gripe is that there was not much veg on the plate and the cauliflower had cheese sauce on it (would of been nice to of been told this when... More

Went here for the first time tonight for a catch up with the BFF. Have to say, was not disappointed. Have been meaning to try it for years (ashamed to say i drive past most days and live 5 mins away!!😕) but just never got round to it....kicking myself now. Lovely oldy worldy pub with different rooms and low ceilings... More

We ate at this pub as it is close to the hotel we were staying at. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we rang to book a table. The menu was varied and the portions generous. I had liver and onions which was delicious and my husband had a lovely chicken stroganoff which if we go again... More

This is a pleasant pub in a very old building directly opposite St Laurence's Church. It has a cosy feel, with a number of small side rooms. It serves a reasonable range of beers and the food is good from an interesting menu. Service is friendly, but decidedly slow.

5 kids & 4 adults. 2 High Chairs. 1 Wheelchair. We parked in the small car park. We chose this pub for Sunday lunch from Trip Advisor (#1 in Frodsham) and it lived up to its reviews & ratings. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. Nothing seems to be too much for them. The food was very nice and... More

Being a Frodshamer and having only bobbed into the Ring O Bells in the past with the boys for a quick beer !
