5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

We ate here last week. First impression was of a lovely pub which was lovely and warm on an autumn night. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent pub food. Definitely recommend.

The food and staff are both top quality. I have had plenty of family meals over the past 6 years there and have always been met with a smile and excellent food. Me and the family will continue to return.

I was disappointed with the ales on offer, all flat and lifeless, this could be due to the fact it hadn't been pulled off as I didn't see anyone drinking it. A nice selection of craft beers though which made up for it slightly. Very friendly staff, very chatty and welcoming. Please sort the beer out as the place looks... More

I normally travel internationally but have found myself in Cheshire several times recently. This time, I stayed in Frodsham. My hotel bar was pretty soulless so I ventured out & popped into a pub called the 'Bears Paw' which was 2 minutes walk away. On my first visit, I saw a beer that I had never heard of before. The... Popped into the Bears Paw in Frodsham for a Sunday meal, we were really disappointed we waited nearly an hour for our meal when other tables were served their meals before us, got the feeling the Locals came first.

We were just passing and decided to have something to eat. We visited about 8pm and there was a good pub atmosphere. We ate fish and chips and gourmet burger. Staff especially Simon was friendly, energetic and enthusiastic in there attention to our needs. There is sky sports and good car parking at rear.

We were traveling through the village and want something to eat so stopped here. Very impressed with the pub, clean, friendly staff and the food was great for a pub menu. Well worth stopping

Visited the Bears paw with 3 adults and 2 four year olds. The pub looks huge from the outside but it's quite small inside. Found a table with ease and went to the bar to order. The children's menu is excellent - 2 sizes of meal available and your own option of sides to add to you main course. I... More
