Had the Squid in batter to start, followed by steak sandwich. Both perfectly cooked and usual really good, friendly service. Great atmosphere and really made to feel welcome. Well done to Ali and her team.

Great pub to visit if you are in Frodsham offering a large selection of real ale and wine. There is a good bar menu offering the usual pub food plus the addition of some unusual daily specials offering a large car park and only a few minutes walk to the train station

Great atmosphere, friendly, efficient manager Alli and staff especially Emma, Phil and Joe. This is one of the best drinking / Lunchtime Eating places in Cheshire. The toilet facilities are always clean .. Recommend this place especially on Thursday market day.

A nice warm day so decided to take our dogs out & call for lunch, the pub was busy as it was market day, we were told 50 min wait but the food was there in about 40, very nice, no complaints from the 4 of us.

Go here very frequently when in the UK. And seem to go every Christmas day! Gets very busy but recommend even just for a drink

We dined here for lunch after a recommendation from a friend. Lovely food, we had very different things from the menu - the pie was deep filled with plenty of chips and flavor some gravy! A good helping too! The chicken looked like a Mitchell restaurant meal, delicious but could have done with a bit more. This meant I opted... More

The pub is a central landmark in Frodsham which makes it an easy place for visitors from far and wide to find. The staff are friendly and helpful, they serve good pub food, reasonable prices, good variety of dishes and are usually more than willing to make changes to an order if they can.
