Our Girls' Night Out was spoiled by poor food and dreadful service. Out of the six of us only one could really say their food was nice. One had to send hers back and the others agreed it was just "alright".

Visited with a group of friends. The staff were young and seemed disinterested and we had to look for someone if we wanted something. No one came to check and when the table was eventually cleared no one asked if we wanted desserts or coffee. My food was a pasta dish which was dry and greasy and not very appetising.... More

My partner and I have visited here many times and are never disappointed. We love coming here on a relaxed night for food or for Sunday lunch. Very relaxed atmosphere for when you want to visit somewhere a little less formal. Lovely during the winter sat in front of a fire, and also nice during the summer sat outside on... More

Had a family gathering here today all in all a very pleasant experience and very reasonably priced. The pub is very welcoming with lots of cosy corners so you don't feel too close to neighbouring tables. The waitresses all seemed very young and the only downside was we did seem to have to look for someone when we wanted something... More

Visited here for Sunday lunch with my family.... waited for 20 mins at the bar to find out our table reservation as there was nobody in the restaurant area....finally seated only to be told they'd run out of Sunday dinners...! We then had to wait another 30 mins fir our starter, which was bread and oil....! When I asked about... More

My husband and I have been here on many occasions it is relatively local to us. There is ample parking and there's an outdoor seating area. We have had occasions where we have just visited for drinks but predominantly we visit to eat. I personally have never had a bad meal there and generally the service is very good.

My parents are regulars here and when their car broke down on the way to lunch today the team went out of their way to make it as stress free as possible. They happily agreed for the garage to pick it up from their carpark on Tuesday, taking the keys so that my parents don't need to be there, made... More

Netherton hall has a lot going for it. The layout is a welcoming country pub on the main road between Helsby and Frodsham. Nice range of beers and wines, not too pricey but not cheap either. We were a little disappointed that the menu did not include the game options shown in the example menu on the website. Then my... More
