We had an absolutely wonderful evening meal here, sitting out by the water's edge, looking out over Spinalonga. Delicious food (we had a large grouper, grilled sea bass, and lobster spaghetti), wonderful wine, and incredible hospitality from a very friendly and interesting owner. He was...so generous, giving us extra complementary wine and raki (over and above that which the generous Greeks usually offer). A very memorable night.More
Fabulous meal with a stunning view. Fresh fish and lobster was amazing, baked feta and vine leaves accompanied by a fabulous white wine.
Fruit and raki to finish; a restaurant we would definitely revisit.
Really friendly and welcoming staff, and an absolutely beautiful location. We had a table right on the waters edge. My husband, son and father had seafood and really enjoyed it. My mother and I are less adventurous and had chicken which was really nice. Lovely...touches such as the platter of fresh fruit to finish and of course the raki!More
Family owned and run restaurant, with kind, attentive staff. They made the seafood sampler for 2 for me, 1. Delicious fish, three kinds. Great wine, Greek salad. All while overlooking the rocky beach with crystal clear blue water. Across the bay is the Island of...Spinalonga, subject of a spellbinding novel, The Island, by a Brit named Hislop. I could sit here all day. Complementary mixed fresh fruit for dessertMore
Right on the water, last tavern before the Plaka tavern row ends. Excellent (sea)food and service, nice view onto the Spinalonga bay, and right in front of a sea-entry ramp for people with disabilities (pebbles at Plaka are so hard to walk on that even...without disabilities you either wear shoes or go in over the ramp...). Parking can be a challenge, especially on a weekend.
First time I am given dental floss (and the prestretched on a holder variety at that) instead of toothpicks!More
Greek cuisine, located in Elounda right next to the sea.
Focus is on seafood and fish dishes, as its right next to the sea (makes sense). We sat down and were served complimentary different breads and olive oil. I made a special request about my...calamari, and it came just as I wanted (and fresh as well).
My photo is a tiny fraction of the 60+ euro meal (deeelishhh). All our meals were fresh and enjoyable, ended with a large bowl of different complimentary fruit.
The waiters were a bit miserable but I think it could have been due to the very busy atmosphere. Would go back again.More
