Had a truly memorable meal here. The waitress Thalia was very attentive and the owner made us very welcome. Returned the following day and were given a free litre of wine. Forget the expensive restaurants on the sea front.

After a beautiful visit to Spinalonga avoid all the tavernas up the main drag and take yourselves to Maria For very good food , traditional cuisine the potatoes and boiled greens are exquisite oh yes we will be back

I don’t know as we were tourists.I think the original Maria was an old lady who has now died?
