Had lunch here today for my birthday and it was lovely. Lovely atmosphere, really relaxed with the bustling market outside. Excellent food, delicious flavours, good presentation and no waiting. The waitress was very attentive and helpful and asked if we wanted her to speak french or english.....none of the speaking english back to you when spoken to in french. I... More

We arrived at our rented house near Riberac on a Sunday afternoon and discovered all the supermarkets were shut. By chance we picked le Chabrot and were so delighted we did. It was the perfect start to our holiday. Luckily they had a table (it is wise to ring in advance and make a reservation) and we had a very... More

Had lunch here on a rainy Sunday. Super entree: truffled egg cocotte. Plat: potatoes Sarlat (superb) and beef. Very friendly service, cosy atmosphere. We got there early, so we got a nice table at the window. Price very reasonable, surely for a place that centrally located in the heart of Riberac. The rain stopped bothering us.

My other half and I ate here one evening on a stopover in Riberac. We hadn't booked a table but the waitress was very accommodating. Service was impeccable, main meal and desserts were truly amazing. Could not fault anything.

Went here with my husband and parents last weekend and had an amazing meal. I believe it is run by a husband and wife team who could not be more pleasant and accommodating. I had the duck confit and my husband had what he could only describe as 'the best omelette he had ever tasted'!!! We are going back to... More

We were in Riberac on a cold day in March and ready for lunch. Stumbled upon this restaurant which had a good number of diners despite the town being quiet. Enjoyed lovely duck main and goats cheese starter. My wife had a delicious soup. Wine good and cheap and service excellent. Highly recommended.

Despite the lateness in the season there were plenty of diners. The food was mostly simple, well presented and delicious. Service was very good. It is everything to be expected of a good restuarant

Three for dinner in this small and attractive restaurant owned by a young couple, she in the front and he in the kitchen. The food was well presented and extremely good. This would have rated a five but I had steak and it was rather tough, even though tasty and cooked as requested. Others had fish which was divine. Service... More

We stayed in Riberac for three nights and ate here on recommendation from the hotel, the meal that we had was delicious and we would have returned had it not been for wanting to try other restaurants. I suggest that you book as a lot of people were turned away as restaurant full.

Le Chabrot is a place where we cook only fresh and principaly local food. A Small Menu à la Carte, Set menu and suggestions of the day. It's a little restaurant where it's better to book before.
