It is The first time I have ate here and I liked it , the food doesn't seem to have cheap taste the coffee is great and waiter was nice . Accessible prices also .

We stopped here to eat on our way choosing the restaurant based on the TripAdvisor reviews and the expectations were even exceeded. The food was very good, quality dishes, nicely dressed. Both food and service were very good and the prices were fair. Excellent Quality-price report. The place is elegant, tastefull and clean.

We were just passing through Barlad and looking for a place to have Lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised with Alona's menu. Great variety, excellent food, good service, highly recommended.

Absolutely nice place to have a rest during your trip. The quality of the food served is excellent, I ate some pasta and I’m still thinking of how good it was. Try it by yourself 🙂

I have been with Colombian tourists in June 2017 at Alona Restaurant in Barlad. I was not expecting much, but once the food came I was impressed: excellent food, stunning presentation, nice staff and knowledgeable in presenting the specialities. There was even a nice young waitress who knew spanish, so everybody was happy. Very clean toilets, nice smell. The restaurant has an old Hollywood glamour, although a doll collection that is a little apart from the theme. All in all, a very good experience. Glad to recommend!

We did not thought that we can have such a nice dinner in a small city like Barlad.
The dishes were delicious and the desert was fascinating.
We ate pork ribs, sheep pastrami, Alona cake and yogurt with forest fruits cake.
The prices are also very decent and for sure you will receive more value than the price you`ll pay. We paid about 200 RON for 3 persons, one dish per person, one desert per person and one bottle of wine with some soft drinks.

Very tasty food made and served in minimalist style, good music and atmosphere. If you go in couple, the staff notices this and lights a candle for a romantic atmosphere. 5 stars restaurant. I highly recommend it.

Went to the new location of the restaurant and left with a great experience: I truly enjoyed the main course and the dessert! I strongly recommend the pork ribs, the fish and the biscuit dessert!

From time to time, I go to this restaurant. Because I like the food. It is not fancy, and is quite fast. I do not eat some complicate dishes, but the steak is generaly ok. I do not like very much the ambient, because there are to many decoration there...to many dolls, to many things, which consume my air!!!!And there is not a generaly theme of decorating with this things. I went at some events here, and this was ok, on the terace and outside. I
