Location good ba the sea on the promenade. There was a frog in the yard which made the children very happy. The pizzas are delicious. A good selection of ice cereal and drinks. Affordable prices and very kind girls waitresses.
We stopped for coffee at this pleasant little cafe on several occasions, and stayed on for lunch as well during one of our visits. It is a lovely place to sit with a view of the sea and beach, just what you need if walking...or cycling around the bay between Slano and the Hotel Osmine. The food and coffee is great, the service excellent, and like most places in the Slano area you’ll have a kitten or two coming by to say hello!More
Set back overlooking a lovely shingle beach, this restaurant offers a very reasonable selection of dishes. Friendly service and great prices. Food and drinks were served in a timely manner and all good quality. Overall it was the cheapest meal we had in Croatia! Guessing...it gets cheaper the more west go go from Dubrovnik.
This little part of Slano was my favourite, away from the imposing hotel in the centre of town. Lovely beach (you can hire beds too), a few other restaurants and a nice walk.More
For a lovely place on the beech and decent food, it's a real shame that they have such uncoordinated and poor service. We were two families with children. We found one table but it wasn't enough for our party of 8. When we found another...two tables close to one another on the upper terrace, there was no waiter to be found in charge of this area and my husband put the two tables together because we had 2 small children and wanted them at our table. After some time, a waiter appeared and practically ordered us in a very rude manner to put the tables apart because it was not allowed. The problem was that he was extremely rude. Instead of telling us politely in a quiet voice that it was not allowed, he snapped at us in such a way that we were shocked. My husband went to speak with the owner, but the owner didn't seem to care. The only reason we didn't leave the place right away was because we were celebrating a kid's birthday and didn't want to spoil it. We separated the tables by ourselves, he didn't even offer any help! Neither the said waiter nor the owner apologized, unbelievable!!! When we finished, another waiter came and apologized on behalf of the rude waiter saying that he has been working all day and was very nervous. Really??! Perhaps I would have understood his behaviour and his losing his temper if we were rude ourselves, but that was not the case. He is not the only one working hard and working with people. My job also includes working and communicating with people, and there is one thing I am sure of: if you are kind and polite to people, people will be kind and polite to you in most cases. BE KIND AND SMILE, IT DOESN'T COST A THING!More
The ambiance and service are great! I rarely had such an attentive and lovely waitress like in that place! Tijana (or similar) is taking care of her guests, immediately knowing what they need and always there to help. AMAZING!
The food is very good, especially...local stuff - the Pizzas (for outside of Italy) are decent as well.
Everybody talks about the Mirakul place next door, but me and my wife preferred this restaurant.More
