In a word, sublime. We had a great dinner. Best restaurant in Malta. The dinner consists in a menu with several entrees and two main dishes (all to share) of beef (pork and chicken). The attention was also more than excellent and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The owner is very kind and it explains all the dishes with pleasure... More

Genuine local food. I will definately recommend it to those wanting to experience local cuisine with fresh local products. We were welcomed by the friendly owner who helped us out in this culinary journey. We were offered an antipasto to start... it was tasteful, abundant and ingredients well combined together for a mouthwatering result. Then we had sruffed quail for... More

This is a genuine Maltese restaurant that serves typical Maltese dishes consisting of fresh local produce which are cooked slowly in the true traditional way. There is no fixed menu because only what is available at the moment is cooked. For the price of 29 euro per person, we had a feast of three delicious courses. Our Italian guest enjoyed... More

Went there twice. The second time we were a group of 29, celebrating a special occasion. The food was excellent, as always. As soon as you step inside it smells like you entered grandma's house - no nasty odors of deep fryers, just genuine, slow cooked food. I just want to go there over and over and over again!

Found this place just walking the lanes around Fort St Angelo. Little family run restaurant serving slow cooked traditional Maltese cuisine matched with local wines. Would definitely come here again. Outstanding meal with a huge variety and so much delicious food. Loved it.

Well, the restaurant PR is good which is a sign not to visit but I wanted to try it out just the same. That's it. The 'chef' / owner is full of himself and thinks that he can cook. Food is bland. Not much to say. Over priced bland food. A friend of mine opted for vegetarian - was given... More
