Had two lovely meals here. Wide choice of fresh fish and plenty of other options on the menu. Friendly staff and really comfortable ambiance.

Good quality cuisine. Restaurant constantly full in the evening so booking imperative. Very friendly but oh so busy waitress.

Basically, there are 4 restaurants in Hermigua (not counting bars and a tapas’ joint). El Faro is hands down the BEST of the 4. It may have fewer choices than the other 3; however, the food is ALWAYS delicious, well prepared, and CONSISTENT. We believe that only reason it has not earned 5 stars is that like many restaurants in... More

We stayed in Hermigua for 4 days and ate here twice. A great little restaurant serving superb fish. The daily fish was beautifully cooked. The best canarian potatoes I'd had during our 8 day stay on the islands. Couldn't recommend enough.

We had one good dinner and a very good afternoon coffe at this restaurant at the beach. Here you can ger food any time after 13:00, when most (if not all) other restaurants are closed (they open usually at 18:30). The pasta Carbonara was tasty and the rabbit was excellent. The service was fast, professional and very friendly. The proprietor... More

The overall experience would probably have been much the same in bygone times. Unpretentious little restaurant in tiny village on sleepy island. No English spoken here and all the better for it.

This is an unpretentious bar and restaurant close to the sea. We went twice. The first time we were offered a variety of fish for the main course. We chose Dorada (sea bream). The fish was served whole, fried in butter and cooked to perfection - great taste, just be careful about the bones! It came with Canarian potatoes but... More
