A good location but not an obvious entrance. If it wasn't for the (polite but non-pushy) door man/woman you probably wouldn't know it existed! Since they weren't all in our face we decided to take a gamble and decided to go in without seeing the restaurant. (Although they did offer for us to see the restaurant before hand if we... More

I was a bit unsure about coming here due to previous reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Initially the service did appear a bit rude and abrupt, our wine choice was not available and we did not accept their wine choice, so decided on an alternative that was not on the wine menu which was fine. They did pay attention to... More

We had two children with us - a toddler and few years older one. They didn't cause noise or troubles, just danced together or played hide-and-seek. We were asked to leave. I'd call it not children unfriendly but children haters.

Yeah just okay, however San Remo has the potential to be amazing as it sits in a great location directly above La Pergola which is one of the better restaurants in the area. In honesty the food was alright, but I cant actually remember any stand out dish. The trouble for me was that we appeared to be a bit... More

Use this restaurant many times on our trips. Food always good, service good and reasonably priced. Will always return. Excellent pizza and fish.

I don't know what happened on our last visit, we were really disappointed in the service and main courses! TBH, I don't think the main manager was in, we waited ages for the starters, but they were worth the wait, the main courses came out staggered, 2 had steak, both were cold along with the veg, one fish course came... Great view but average food. Mentioned in the guides so we thought we would be OK. Went on Xmas day event as our first choice, the pergola was closed.
