The Fisherman’s Inn is a true to its word as a genuine gem of a restaurant. During are stay we visits the fisherman’s twice because of the friendly and warm welcome we got and also the food we had. Highlight being the fisherman’s fish pie...which you will have to order one day in advance. Be warned it’s very filling! Probably the best fish pie we ever had. When we will return to Santiago in the future we will definitely be visiting again.More

We went there twice, because the first night's experience was fantastic. The only "problem" is that there might be long waiting time for food, because the kitchen is small and there is only one cook working! But she does fantastic job! Please note, that this...restaurant is with reservations only and they take cash only.More

Only outside terrace, at least we did not see any tables indoors, but just bring a sweater or jacket. Beautiful view and great sunsets. Went twice during our stay, had halibut and chowder, all great. Yes, service is not speedy, they have a small kitchen,...so don't go if you are in a hurry. It's all worth waiting for. Reservations recommended, or be there when they open.More

We called in here for lunch while on a walk from Los Gigantes so had no booking. We were advised that it was cash only, which was fine, and were shown to a table on the terrace which is perched high above the bay. Our...drinks were served quickly and we had about 15 minute wait for our food, which was pretty good as it was clearly freshly prepared.More

Hidden on a steep corner, perched high above the Playa de Santiago, the Fisherman's Inn, or as the locals call it Méson del Pescadores, is a tiny, family run, restaurant with a huge terrace overlooking the bay. Now don't be fooled by the small, plastified...menu in 6 langages. Every dish is prepared "a la minute" in the tiny kitchen and is a feast for the palate. Genuine local seafood, fresh vegetables and sauces that don't overpower the freshly caught fish. I can honestly say that they serve the best garlic prawns on the southwest coast and the grilled halibut with curried mussels will get you up at night begging for more !! The boss and his "mate" were really welcoming... and could hardly keep themselves from flirting with my 86 yr old mum, who was all giggles. And we even got a surprise shot of ronmiel at end end of our meal. Totally worth the visit and we will gladly visit again, despite having had to hold on to our wine glasses because of the wind. Thanks to them for such a wonderful moment.More

We called in on a lunch time walk and had a selection of tapas garlic prawns the best we have ever had, fish skewers delicious, Salman and brie etc all unbelievable. We then pre booked the fish pies and returned for an evening meal. The fish...pie is absolutely amazing so much fish delicious. The owners wife does the most amazing job in the tiny kitchen she has. This is one not to be missed.More

Excellent unpretentious rustic and simplistic, all credit to the haphazard staff that somehow works, the setting is superb the owner a tad dower but somehow charismatic 😂😂😂

We visited on a lunchtime. This restaurant is cash only but no problem. We had the prawn starter and fish skewers which were excellent. It started to rain heavily, rarity in Tenerife. We asked the owner if he could order us a taxi. He had...no luck so his wife (also the cook) tried and eventually they very kindly found us a taxi.We would go back again as they are lovely people and very helpful. We were also given 3 free shots of something I can't remember the name.More

The food was absolutely amazing. You have to wait a while for Your food, but it's worth it. I think I've never had better prawns. Also the owner and rest of the crew are very friendly and helpful.

We didn’t have a reservation, went in and were told “only cash”. Made a quick trip to the atm and back in less than 10 minutes. Got back and we were told that there were no available tables. Felt like he just gave us the...runaround, could have told us right away that we needed a reservation. So did not eat there. And probably never will.More

The owner only want to serve alcohol. Sadly, I was driving and did not want to make a coffee. Sadly I had to turn around and leave. Shame as the venue was ideally located and wasn’t too busy

Wow what fantastic food and in such a great location. During our stay we went twice as the food was so good. I would recommend the fish skewers and garlic prawns for starters, both delicious and we had the halibut and mussels in curry sauce...and the hake with spinach crust mash. Also the fish pie and chowder we amazing. Carlos was a great host, lots of banter and we loved his ‘medicine’More

This was a great find. Excellent homemade tapas and good house wine. The host has a great sense of humour and we were treated to Ron Miel on the house. Definitely worth a visit. Angus and Claire

Overpriced, surly service and over an hours wait for food. Wet and windy suddenly so they put a large brolly between table which then the wind knocked over as not secured and our glass of our wine fell off the table and spilled all over...handbag. When we asked for a refill we were met with disdain and a very sarcastic response.More

The waiting time is incredibly long for the food. I think smaller children could get impatient.
