Firstly I would never go to Tenerife without visiting this restaurant. This time I, again, was not to be disappointed. Carlos, the owner, makes this place such a joy to visit. Its not the most glamorous looking place but that is more than made up...for with its balcony views looking out to sea and into the sunset. Add to this the food. What can I say but as its cooked to order, you have to wait but that wait is certainly worth it. I would recommend anyone to visit here. If your near Puerto Del Santiago. Make a point of visiting. Thank you Carlos. I'll be back (again)More

Great view but in fact a tourist trap . Of course it takes a long time to prepare the fish chowder , because it is all frozen fish, . And not even from this ocean because it contained Tilapia or Pangasiusfilet , you could tell...it because those fishes have an earth ground like taste. The fish skewer was good. The bread is not fresh . Not ok for a place that pretends to have a kitchen serving only fresh dishes.More

Went to Fisherman's Inn for the third time since October. Always good food and a wonderful environment. Highly recommend this place. This is not a fast food restaurant but a real restaurant where the ingredients are respected.

This should be a rating of excellent as the food is probably the best seafood we have eaten but we waited over a hour for our meal. We were first in the restaurant and so ordered before everyone else. Owner told us not to have...starters as the portions are large. After finishing our bottle of wine and watching the sunset we decided to leave. The owner was extremely apologetic and would not let me pay for our wine. He persuaded us to stay, of which I am glad he did, the food was divine. The owner is very entertaining singing to the guests etc. Definitely one of the best fish restaurants in TenerifeMore

The best fish restaurant that we have ever visited. The food was divine, the owner is attentive, charming & great fun. All this while sitting on an outside terrace watching the sunset over Gomera. Bliss !

Great Inn in a great location. Perfect spot for a restaurant on this side of Santiago, overlooking the bay. Make sure you book, only a few tables. The food was lovely, large portions, the lamb cutlets that I had were fantastically cooked, all 8 of...them! Though not cheap, most expensive meal we had whilst staying in Tenerife for 10 days!More

Be patient and you'll be rewarded! The food you get at this place is made from the bottom, the ingredients are very fresh and the tase fantastic. If you love well prepared homemade cusine, this is the place. We enjoyed filet from the local fish...Dorada, crispy fried on the skinn side in butter with Canarian potatoes and salad, and herb breaded cod on top of mashed potatoes (perfect made with butter). So delicious!! At the neighbor table the lam rack looked and smelled so fantastic, that we have to come back to try.. The restaurant is outside, perfectly placed in the most romantic place by the sea with a view to la Gomera and the sunset behind. On top you'll get a warm welcome from the very kind and happy staff. What's not to like!!! This place deserves all the stars.More

Left after an hour & just paid for drinks. Apparently our fault for not ordering starters. Tiny kitchen and one chef. Be prepared to wait.

Had a lovely dinner this evening .Carlos welcomed us as friends . Drinks were ordered and served promptly and food delivered piping hot . Probably the freshest tastiest sea bream ( el pescado del día) that I have had in a very long time. I...love the papas arrugadas con mojo sauce. The location is perfect and undoubtedly one of the best settings in Los Gigantes / Puerto Santiago/ Playa de la arena area. It can be a bit chilly on a Feb evening but go early take your jacket and enjoy. Carlos is bound to offer you a rum with miel or whisky to warm you up at the end of your meal. We will definitely return.More

Been walking past this place every year for past 7 years, finally decided to try it for lunch. So glad we did! The fresh fish is fabulous, it was sea Bream when we visited but changes depending on what's been caught. The garlic prawn starter...was more than enough for one person, so glad we shared it. The owner, Carlos, is an entertainment and genial host and his conversation is not to be missed together with his wonderful sense of humour. We loved our time their and will return if only for the entertainment value. Top tip, if you visit lunchtime in February the tables are in the shade so take a jumper or light jacket unless it's a hot dry.More

Well this is our third time to this restaurant. Carlos is a little bit bonkers but in a really really good way. If Basil Fawlty had a fish restaurant it would be this no words can explain the experience you are made to feel so...welcome. The food is outstanding tonight I had fishcake it looked like a porkpie, but tasted amazing, followed by salmon Previously we’ve had the chowder and the fish pie all were exemplary. No one leaves this restaurant without a full belly and a laugh. Tge humour of this man. he was born for this restaurant. If you don’t go anywhere else go here. Your can’t put a value on this experience book before you goMore

We met up with friends, who were staying nearby, to celebrate our anniversary. Definitely recommend booking as there aren’t too many tables and it does get busy. We had such a fun time with lots of banter and the best food. This is a leisurely...lunch, so don’t be in a rush! The menu is small but each dish is freshly cooked with fantastic flavours. Three of is had the fish of the day (sea bream that day), which was pan fried to perfection and served with canarian potatoes. My husband had the hake with mussels in a creamy curry sauce again as he enjoyed it so much the last time we came three years ago. No matter where we stay on the island in future, a visit here will definitely be on the agenda. I forgot to mention the views over the sea. Make sure you take cash as they don’t accept payment by card.More

The waiting time is incredibly long for the food. I think smaller children could get impatient.
