We arrived at Meat Cove late in the afternoon and were initially told that there were no more campsites left, but they managed to squeeze us and our little tent in at "the last" spot left - a great little spot, actually, on the cliff...More

Who knew you could get fantastic oysters at a campground? Our sea kayak tour guide knew, that's who! We were sent here after our adventure on the ocean and were not disappointed. So yummy!

Let's be realistic, this is a small, remote campground. You won't find 5-star amenities here. But it has what you need at a great price. If you like camping you'll love this. Ritz? Not even close. We stayed while paddling through on a kayak trip....More

We went for the chowder - not worth going just for that - but food was good. The views from the restaurant deck are amazing! Some of the best sites we saw were from the road in and out of Meat Cove. Parts of the...More

We had an amazing time here. Justin runs the campground and he's a great host - with a welcoming and happy attitude for each visitor. The new bathrooms and showers are fantastic - no timers or coins required for the hot showers. The beach is...More

When we arrived today, the dining room was full. No one was sitting on the deck due to the chilly, blustery weather. The woman behind the counter took my name and assured me we would have the next available table- we were a party of...More

Tenting is first come, first served. They do have small chalets that require reservation. We rented and had no problem finding a site without calling ahead. It’s worth a shot - the views are heavenly!
