If you are going to visit the ancient city then you must stop here to eat. If you leave the station cross the footbridge you will find it on a corner. The waiter was dressed in a toga. The food was outstanding we had the 12 euro menu for two courses. We were stuffed and even with drinks on top... More

Terrible service- we were ignored 3 times (absolutely no acknowledgement) whilst waiting at the entrance to be seated, if this wasn't the only show in town we would already have left. When we were seated, we were ignored for a further 10 minutes whilst Italian families that arrived after us were fussed over. After we managed to get attention enough... More

My expectations were low about this place because of its location next to Ostia and high probability of being a tourist trap. The food was actually very good, but there was only one poor waiter for about 15 tables at lunch. He did the best that he could, but he was clearly overwhelmed. It is odd that he did not... More

We were hungry when we arrived at Ostia Antica long before Italian lunch time but we stopped in anyway and they seated us. The Roman theme in the decor was a little cheesy but the service was good and the food was too. We had salads and fetuccini with seafood, wine bread and water. The bread was a little dry... More

Food was from microwave I think. We eat bologhense and chicken and it wasn't the best. Waiter was the best!

They have the top location to capture the tourists after leaving the ruins - plus they serve very good country style Italian food. Nice varied menu selection and wines. We enjoyed pasta and seafood, quite good. Ancient ruins nearby are partially incorporated as well. Nice meal. Enjoy. ...

I stopped with my boyfriend for lunch at this restaurant, which had a somewhat authentic vibe and was conveniently positioned next to the Ostia Antica excavation site. We ordered a pizza and a menu consisting of pasta, chicken scallops in wine and fries. The pizza was extremely dry, thin and crunchy, I'm pretty sure the worst I've ever seen everywhere... More

An excelente pizza at a very good price. We didn't eat inside. Just a take away pizza. The restaurante seemed very nice and friendly with locals. Just outside the site of Ostia Antica. Reasonable prices.

decent food, reasonable prices, close to the ruins, good value for the money. Limited choice but it was enough for us.

well where do i start, ok from the outside it looks like a normal restaurant but when you enter through the doors you are taken back in time, part of it is an original 2000 year old building complete with artefacts and the food was great too
