Chose paella and it was certainly a bad choice. €26 and hardly any fish 6 mussels, 4 prawns and a little calamari. Very salty. The restaurant is however very popular and busy. You choose the fresh fish and then they cook it for you. Sadly we had to queue for ages at the fish display.

You order before sitting and having a look at the menu. 67 euro for two rices, two grilled calamari and a bottle of White vine. The food is very good but, in our opinion, too expensive for spanish restaurant!!

When you enter the restaurant, you choose the kind of fish you want to eat (or choose several small portions). Than you choose a table and meanwhile your dish will be prepared. Its very fresh and caught the same morning by the local fisherman.

We are staying in the hotel above the restaurant and have eaten in the restaurant twice now. Villanova is a great place for good quality restaurants serving fresh local products at very reasonable prices. That is apart from here. First meal was lunch and a paella for 2 which was lacking flavour and hardly any seafood but an elevated price... More

When we go to vilanova we always try to have lunch there. You choose your fresh fish or seafood...then they bting it to your table cooked as expected. The service is friendly and quite fast in my opinion. Having lunch in the terrace is really nice, under the big umbrellas. Paella is really good also. Price is more than acceptable.

Very traditional seafood of the highest quality! Very fresh. You can order the entire mediterranean sealife. You go in, you pick your dishes, they get weighed in your personal clean plastic bag, and.... off it goes to the kitchen. Friendly service and good inexpensive local wines!

This restaurant was always full of locals enjoying an interesting variety of fish dishes so we decided to give it a try. There is no menu, just a fish counter at the front where you can choose the fish you want and pay for it by weight. We choose a handful of prawns and scallops and it was cooked in... More

You order at the counter from a displayed selection of fresh seafood. If your language skills are good enough (ours are not) you could specify how you want each dish prepared. We placed our trust in the kitchen and were not disappointed. Take your seat and wait to be delighted. Fresh seafood cooked perfectly - grilled or fried in a... More
