I liked this restaurant, interesting interior design, traditional decor, excellent service, English speaking personnel, but very limited selection of food. Though I would recommend to visit it. Cuisine is Assyrian, means spicy and heavy, but tasty. Prices are slightly higher than expected (for Mardin). There is work shop which is interesting to see, where local ladies make beautiful handcrafted accessories... More

This restaurant is placed in a stone mansion siting on the skirts of a hill - just like many other dwellings in Mardin. The view from the balcony of the restaurant is toatally splendid as you can just admire the beautiful Mesopotamian landscape, of course if you are lucky enough to book a table by the window. The food seemed... More

Located in an ancient palace wıth a beautiful vıew on the mesopotamic plaıns, you can taste the best Mardin's cuisine. The Kaburga is a must to take, long time cooked lamb with bulgur and spices. local red syrian wine available. Many dishes on the menu not available. Good value. Excellent service.

The menu was completely limited. There was no Assyrian food available, only Turkish. They only had lamb or mutton. It was very expensive. The meat was overcooked. Overall, just not impressed.

The foods we tried were major disappointment. The portions were little and the dishes were not as advertised in the menu. I have ordered a lamb dish and it was served with beef. I told this to the waitor and he told me that they sometimes use beef for it and did not even bother to apologize. And the prices... More

We had a wonderful meal here. The meze option is well worth it. The house wine was nice. The food was good, and the head waiter was very entertaining. It's a nice building. We ate up on one of the terraces. Although it was June, and generally hot, it was actually quite windy and cool, even chilly, and they provided... More
