We arrived in Cambremer to do the cider tour and found that all places would be closed for lunch until 2. To fill in time, we decided to lunch and we're delighted by our choice. The food at Au P'tit Normand is plentiful, delicious and top quality. Service was efficient and charming. It's a shame we couldn't return for another... More

Dumb luck brought us to Au p'tit Normand for lunch on a day we were driving with no real agenda through the Pays d'Auge during our stay in Normandy. We were probably lucky to get a table w/o reservations as the 1st and 2d levels were both packed. The menu was limited that day (another holiday unknown to us), but... More

Do not pass this restaurant! Small and unassuming, but a real culinary treat. Best meal I've had during my two weeks in France. I ordered the Cambembert-basil quenelles for entree and duck with pommeau sauce for main. The quenelles were light, airy, and herby. Maybe a hint of mint? Or just a type of basil I'm not familiar with. The... More

Service with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal of Terrine de Foie Gras followed by Grosses Crevettes and washed down with a lovely bottle of dry cider. This is a charming little restaurant overlooking the village square and a few table are available on the small terrace, weather permitting.

Overlooking the square of the pretty village of Cambremer is this little gem of a restaurant run by a mother and daughter team. We enjoyed a mid-week lunch from the set menu and the food was superb - beautifully presented and served with flair by the daughter who fronts the tables. The menu is both plat-du-jour and a la carte,... More

everything is in the title, I guess. The place is very cosy, the food is simple (vegetarians should not come here though...) and good, most of it served with some creamy sauce (better suited for winter weather). The special dessert is simply exceptional : sweet omelet with apples and calvados. It says it is for two, but 3 or4 can... More

Great hospitality , my first tripe experience and an all round good meal. They were very busy doing lunch , but managed to squeeze us into a window seat. Mom does the cooking ( very local ) and her daughter handles up front.
