I have lived in the area most my life and probably walked past this place a million times, but today I decided to have my lunch here. Although the era setting is waay before my time I still found it endearing. The service was first class and the food was great, a true ploughman's lunch true to the original. As... More

I've been visiting this lovely establishment since it first opened - I think it's been going over ten years now. My sister Catherine and I visit regularly,I also sometimes go twice a month with other friends or pop in on my own for a pot of tea and gorgeous fruit scone with jam and cream. We regularly go on a... More

Superb atmosphere, friendly staff that don't hover and an incredibly cosy setting. My wife and I visited for the first time and for an old Bradfordian like myself I felt totally at home as it compared to the Betty's Tea Rooms of my childhood. In particular I asked for a vanilla slice as did my wife. When said slices arrived... More

Excellent Crispy Bacon on brown roll. The £10.00 Lunch Special, Soup, Sandwich, two slices of cake and tea, sounded excellent but breakfast was only recently consumed. If more that 4 ring ahead and book a table. Vintage clothes on the first floor.

Delightful little place with a 20s theme - you walk down into a room stuffed to bursting with memorabilia. It's comfortable and cozy. This is a place to go for tea and cakes - the savory food is quite simplistic, but you can tell great pride is taken in the desert menu. If you like a good scone, there is... More

You could quite easily walk straight past this place without knowing it existed, you'd be missing out. Today was my first visit and it certainly won't be the last. What a fabulous place. The service is fantastic. Our waitress was named Sarah, what a lovely lady. She went out of her way to make sure we had a lovely time.... More

Description
Hidden away behind the indoor market, Interlude Tea Room brings an ambience and quality not often found in today's busy times. Great food, all made and baked on the premises (including their bread), wonderful service and a chance to chill out before returning to the 21st century.
