Whilst not enthused about lunch , coffee can be recommended - variety available but if you like a decent cup of straight coffee Bar Tasca has it. Also two of you could share an ice cream " Hellados Whisky" which was tasty and great shared between two. Lunch was okay , but limp fries and frozen mixed veg detracted from... More

This restaurant located to the West of the church square offers good wholesome food cooked and served by a husband and wife team. Very Spanish interior and a great place to sit in the heat of the day. There are tables outside but passing vehicles, although infrequent are a little off putting.

We all enjoyed our meals and have booked to return as authentic Andalucian food in comfortable surrounding. Most of us ordered local venison or pork that came with chips and vegetables. My daughter had an omelette rather than the scrambled egg that was on offer in other restaurants. The owner spoke English which was helpful too.

We visited the place in a rainy day and we've been warmed by all the good food we've been served by the owner. The place is spotless and the service is professional. Lots of meat based plates are available but various soups are available and salads too. To be visited again.

We go there regularly and stumbled on it by accident when we were looking at a caravan in the nearby campsite. Pepe the owner is friendly and helpful without being pushy. My kids love him and his wife and now no camping trip is complete without let's go to pepe's and eat meatballs by my picky 6 year old. The... More

The traditional spanish food was very good and very reasonably priced (damn cheep by most standards). The service was extremely friendly and accommodating (we had 4 children with us). It is also adjacent to a square with a kids playground, so if you are sitting outside you can watch the kids play and continue to enjoy the food and wine.... More

Whilst staying in Spain with my family visiting my aunt in jimena we had tried a few of the local places for food and this is the friendliest most accommodating helpful restaurant in the whole town. The breakfast was good, but meat on the evening meal amazingly succulent and they made special chicken fir my younger daughter and the eine... More

We often pop in on a night out for a couple of drinks as we always get a friendly welcome. The tapas are always good and great value. We also had the menu del Dia, when my other half had a very rare day off work midweek. With very generous portions, great service and fantastic food we will most certainly... More
