Really nice people serving honest dishes and with a good knowledge of local wines and olive oils. We sat on the terrace with was kept cool by a water spraying installation. Pure and tasty food. Recommended.

Enoteca Properzio is open more hours than any other establishment in Spello, maybe in all of Umbria! From 10:00AM to after 10:00PM seven days a week, the Enoteca is serving excellent Italian meat, pasta, salad and soup selections that can be paired to your own selections of wine from an inventory of thousands of bottles representing up to 2200 labels.... The guy was simply not wanting to work and he just basically did not offer us any solution for dinner. Very unpleaseant service with rude manners. There are so many other places in town better than this overrated tavern.

This is very insulting and unpleasant. First you can not judge the service without eating and secondly it is always very reccommended to book during high season in Spello, especially at Enoteca Properzio. More

We were recommended Enoteca Properzio by Paola at Locanda del Gallo and had the most fantastic lunch with wine tasting. Luca was incredibly helpful and all of us agreed that it was our favourite experience of the holiday! This is a fantastic place with wonderful wines that were carefully matched to the delicious food. Thank you!

Read the title. Then pretend Antonio Banderas said it. Now onto the review: I've been coming to Spello for years and made the grave mistake of never stopping here. But the family who works here, particularly Luca and Roberto, made up for it all in one sitting. My wife and I were treated to a feast, and I mean treated,... More

When we arrived in Spello, we where looking around to visit this beautifull old city and found this enoteca. We wanted to buy some wine to take at home. A young man, showed us a review in the NY-times about the wine they where selling. He proposed us to taste some of these expensive wines. He told us that they... More

We enjoyed a memorable lunch at Enoteca Properzio, where our group was treated like royalty. We sampled several types of wine, several types of olive oil, and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Roberto and Luca led us through the journey with delightful stories and entertainment. This is what you want on a vacation: delicious food, outstanding wine, and an unforgettable experience.

Returning to Spello and the Enoteca Properzio is like returning home. The Angelinis treat you like family wether you are returning or a first time visitor. Typical Umbrian fare is coupled with the perfect wine of your choosing. What better place to relax than in the private courtyard, or if you are a people watcher, under the trees of the... More

This place is a must do if you are in Spello. Sit back and enjoy an incredible selection of wine and the charming Angellini family along with it. We continue to visit every time we are in Italy. Immediately you are treated like family and having an incredible experience. The best eggplant parmigiana I've ever had. A real treasure!!

Enoteca Properzio 2 is set in a very specific context, specifically in a place dating in 1550, part of the famous palazzo dei Canonici , next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore in Spello. Legend says that here Pinturicchio lived and worked in this environment for a long time , (considered the most celebrated artist in the area).

Enoteca Properzio 2 , also protected by the Fine Arts, comes from the requeirement to offer customers a greater and more impressive space compared to the original Properzio 1. The restaurant is divided into several areas, designed for the maximum comfort of guests: outdoor area with umbrellas, indoor dining rooms , rooms for private tastings and a large interior courtyard for summer.

Why do people choose Enoteca Properzio 2?
It is the ideal place for breakfasts, lunches and exclusive dinners with tasting menus or a la carte or even to enjoy amazing aperitivi at any time during your day.
