Met with some friends on market day and we decided to eat here. It was not my first visit, but it was theirs. Great three course menu for €11.50.

We went here twice and both times it was very busy (including Sunday evening) but the service was excellent and efficient. There is a really good value menu at €17.50, one of the best priced ones we encountered on this holiday. As one would expect at a Logis hotel there were plenty of regional dishes on offer - sanglier and... More

We tried this restaurant on a Saturday night recently. My husband and I both had Prix Fixe dinners. Mine was an odd salad, with much marinated chicken and many other things thrown in, then a daube with fresh noodles, just OK. Ditto the apple tart dessert. My husband fared better, pate, homemade, and a nice piece of fish. Although the... More

Excellent value restaurant with wonderful helpful staff. Right in the middle of Aups and as we were staying in Moissac it was an easy drive and parking is right alongside the restaurant in the village parking area. We had about 12 to seat for dinner and the staff quickly put tables together for us. They then helped us magnificently with... More

Although other places are rated higher for quality of food, Le Provencal puts together a superb package for those on a budget: a lovely atmosphere in the evening, good value tourist menus giving you a taste of Provence and big helpings, and tasty a large carte options. Service was relaxed and friendly, and the waitress was patient with our poor... More

On our recent holiday, we ate here twice and both meals were first class. We hadn't booked the second meal, but arriving at 7pm it was quiet. By 8 pm it was packed and for a mid-September Monday evening, that's busy. Sitting in the enclosed terrace under the huge tree is a really nice place to be. The tourist menu... More

I just didn't know where to go, and we just popped in this place which in the end was great...I loved the food we had a menu, and it was very nice!! If I have the occasion I will surely come back.

This family run restaurant is our favourite in Aups. We have been here several times during many years. Food is good and the service is always very nice and friendly. Best places are outside under the trees.

We had a very pleasant lunch here yesterday. Great little garden location, very busy. Waitresses were so busy, but dealt with it very well, smiling and efficient! We had 2 very good salads, one goats cheese with white truffle, the other was smoked ducks breast and some pan fried ducks liver, with haricot very and a great selection of salads.... More

Always full in the main restaurant by 12.15. This is a perfect place for lunch. Variety of sensibly priced menus and a wine list that is not overpriced. Specialising in local food and lots of game in season. Lovely shady terrace for Sumer eating. Very friendly service with a smile

Thank halftidy
