A serene environment that keeps you in touch with nature. A lake view of Calabar estuary, traditional cuisine served with a panache. An experience my visiting staff and colleagues still treasures.

I visited during of Calabar night dinner and I must confess, the food especially the epkan was amazing...well spiced. You can also try the unripe plantain delicacy and some fresh palm wine while you at it...lol

Nivel views. While you're waiting for your food they give you a small bread with butter to make the waiting less boring. That's nice though. The food is large and tasty. Prices are kinda high. We paid for two meals plus drinks around 6000 NGN.

On one of the evenings, we took taxi to Tinapa Hotel, and decided to hang around and eat at the Tinapa Restaurant. They had a small buffet but we decided upon choosing something from the menu, and we enjoyed it. In fact, we enjoyed it a lot more that the restaurant at the hotel where we were staying.

Variety of foods all with a local flavor. The local drinks especially zobo is heavenly. The supply should be replenished.

Food was virtually the same every day...breakfast, lunch and dinner...and the novelty wore off big time. No proper coffee.

There is a wide variety of dishes in the menu but only few available and it takes so long to be served ... May be the buffet with African dishes would have been better but it is not always the ideal for European palate ... Also found drinks and food are rather expensive for what is finally a remote place... More

I like the space available to play around, take walks; quite romantic hotel; lake nearby; boat ride possible; friendly and polite attendants

My only issue was the deliver in delivering my food. I think it was because of the large number of guest at the restaurant, but it was worth the wait.
