What a pub. We were in the area for Thorpe park and this pub was a fantastic place to close the day at. First of all it was easy to book. On arrival the pub was lovely to view, a stunning pub inside and out The food was amazing. We all had 3 courses and it was high quality and... More

We ate here after a long flight from Australia. A charming English pub in a tiny village. My meal was a blue cheese soufflé; just right. My husband, an fan of sausages, was pleased with his choice of Cumberland sausage.

This is a sad pub trying to be a gastro pub. Lots of laid up tables with white tablecloths. The menu was sadly not very exciting so I decided not to eat.

12 of us went for dinner last night. We had a lovely meal. I had the prawns to start from the special menu they were really good. Then followed by steak that was also good. We would like to visit again as a couple. The only off putting thing was the locals in the bar shouting at the rugby.

The Staff/Manager and ambiance are a delight. Although we went at lunchtime and the restaurant was very busy the waitress dealt with our varied requests without any bother. There were 7 in our party (there should have been 9 but due to illness 2 had not arrived). We chose the £10.50 for two courses Either Starter & Main or Main... More

Went with fairly large group for a meal together. Smoked salmon starter was excellent. One person could not eat the paella as it had too much chili. Mine was just bearable, but I wouldn't use chili in paella. The calamari in it was reminiscent of rubber bands and I left most of it. Desserts all too expensive to bother with,... More
